I've been out of the art community myself for a while, just doin' my own thing, I fear I've been jaded towards vectors in particular until reading through this thread, which restored my faith in the medium a little. I hope you continue your hard work, since it looks like you've come so far already, and you've certainly inspired me.

Finally, after so much trial and error, I got what I wanted.

A vector of a photograph of my grandfather. I originally wanted to finish it before Christmas and send it out to the rest of my family, but early on I found out that getting little details like the wrinkles was next to impossible.

Calender done for 2010, octagons inspired from other logos and a movie ticket I have. I will work harder today, so that I have a tomorrow.

Needed to do this one. Just needed to. I havent done a really serious or fun vector in a long time; thank goodness for high res images of Saber.

Um... continuing the advice to use the smother style for the lines and shapes. Tilted the image to a horizontal state and guessed in filling in the areas around the bottom.

After 3 weeks, a potential loss of the file, lots and lots of caffeine; I finished this on on schedule. So happy, so very very happy.

Kay, some details. The original file size is around 3000 by 3600, and 5 MB. Also I had to very effectively fix this one a bit because it bleeds off, so I had to improvise some little details. I hope my fixes arent too obvious. I also did it for a dearly delighted friend of mine because Nanoha is his second favorite character (right after Saber).
