"Breaking Effect"

Why was I keeping all of this inside
a moment like this, only strong is my will
Why am I seeking all that you hide
My love for you, its only what you kill

My soul is crying only wishing for you to stay
hoping for my feelings to fade
My Heart is dying only wishing for you to say
Only noticing they've only been betrayed

You say that you care for me
constantly wanting only what you hold
You say you only want me to be
believing all the story's you've told

The flowers in this field are dying
never knowing what they show
The wind in the air only wishing i was flying
only wanting them to live again and grow

Dreaming of something waiting
only for me will it be there
Dreaming of what Im hating
Believing its all only because you care

Close to the end is where I'm left behind
you broke through all of what I kept hidden
Close to the start is where I wish to be refined
only what we want and wish to believe in

Your the one I love

Your sent from up above

I like the way you smile
I love the way you kiss
I like the way you smile
I love this feeling of bliss

We welcome that fateful day

Now is left for me to say

by my side
my wings have stayed
by my side
there they lay

never falling
only wishing for you
never calling
just to see me through

my heart beating
only without a cause
my soul fleeing
only time is pressing pause

standing on the ledge
only hoping to be
standing on the ledge
can I believe this is me

I hear your voice
so distant yet so near
I hear your voice
only that is what I fear

holding close to you
only the memory is what I know
holding close to you
Your hatred is what I show

returning to my past
only dreaming of whats ahead
returning to what might last
leaving me behind instead

these broken wings of mine

You reached for me
Pulled me from the dark
Showed me love and compassion
Set free my soul and heart

Our separate paths
Now moving one direction
Hoping to conform one day
Offering our soul’s protection

I love the way you smile
The way you touch my face
The way you kiss my cheek softly
The way you hold me with such grace

Everything about you
So perfect in every way
The words all mixed up in my heart
Not knowing how or what to say

I love you like no other
More than words can say
I think of you and smile
Loving each and every day
