He wanted a world entirely his own
Even as he asked everyone to help him
He wanted so bad to be all alone
But was afraid of being left out on a limb

And so now this prophecy was made
About how everything would fall and fade
But he went off on his own trending to the dim
I found him and he bowed just to him

But then all things began to unfold
And things changed and things that foretold
Began to occur as was said
and he cried “I am dead, I am dead!”

And he walked into the shifting dreck
From the hospital began himself a lonely trek
And unraveling himself he unspooled
He slinked and he snuck and was fooled

All these foreign things he now saw
Loomed over him and he broke down
And all that was heard was the crows caw
As he asked for what help could be found

He begged and he bent and he shivered in the cold
And he screamed and he began to fold
He curled up inside and couldn’t do a thing
With out someone else tugging his string

Now how lonely is now that is now
All that you are is all you’re endowed
No one can touch you no one can see

Now he says, “all that is, is me”
