to save u time global warming bad, cfc's causing it, cfc's r in hairspray dont use it, global warming is actually a problem that has been happening and as a result polar bears go bye bye which will happen unless by some very off chance we can plug up the hole in the o zone layer which is melting the ice and is really unfixable so in a way the arctic is doomed be cause it is all ice no land thank you for your time

I think global warming is being totally undertoned so that people can push it off. It is a serious issue. and i think its sad people would rather watch our planet be decimated than to make some life style changes.

Wrong. Cfc's destroy the ozone layer (which has been closing up lately). Global Warming is supposedly caused by CO2 and Cow farts.

dude global warming is caused by the green house effect which means light and heat come in to the earth atmosphere and the mre dangerous heat is bounced back out but since there is a hole in the ozone layer more of that dangerous light and heat is coming in and is not going out quick enough u shouldnt doubt my scientific ability i have proven companies and the internet wrong before anywho yes co2 is a cause but what i said is correct because the destuction of the ozone layer and global warming r 2 parts of the same problem and by the way, if u ever say i was wrong again... ur gonna wake up breathing through a tube

Well, I do doubt you "scientific ability" because you are completely and absolutely wrong. Greenhouse gasses trap heat in. They do not reflect "dangerous heat". This is why the release of excess greenhouse gasses such as CO2 and Methane are dangerous.

In contrast, the Ozone Layer is a layer of O3 that absorbs some of the UV radiation coming in from space. CFCs react chemically with the O3 and end up changing the O3 into other compounds that don’t absorb the same wavelengths of light.

It is interesting (Not really, it should be completely obvious) to note that UV radiation and heat energy are not at all the same thing. UV radiation doesn't increase the temperature; it damages DNA and thereby causes cancer.

I don't believe it's totally man made. Mt. Pinatubo that erupted in the early 1990s in the Philippines emitted more pollution than man has ever done so and I don't find anything that significantly bad right now.

I have just been informed that I should stop spewing forth ignorance. Well folks, I have yet to say anything misleading on this topic. I've already pointed out that Mars is heating up at the same rate as Earth, leading me to believe that the sun is what is causing global warming. This environmental craze is completely unfounded on any fact. The climate changes on Earth. It's always been this way, it's entirely natural.
