Favourite anime character? (explain why and where its from)

Ok i dont know if this thead has recently been brought up but iv'e checked several pages and i dont see it anywhere ^^

I'll start off first hmm lets see... I have two but if i had to choose it would have to be Ikkaku (bald guy) from Bleach! Omg he's wicked because he just loves to fight xD I mean come on his Bankai looks great too haha and i loved the fight where he's up against that magma Vizard dude. Also, he's a bit psychotic which again is pretty awesome!

ANIME? Hmm... I guess i sorta liked Howl from Howls moving castle. But only because his personality was funny and he was a wizard. That and i like the longish black hair look. But he's not a fav. Ok Rurouni Ken was an anime too right? I liked Aoshi because he's all silent and mysterious and also an awsome swordsman with good dicipline.

third is Maya Natsume from Tenjho Tenge.

Ichimaru Gin, the famed sanbantaichou from Bleach... Coz although he's evil, his twisted personality attracts me... Lol. (Not to mention, when his eyes snapped open, I was overwhelmed at how strong the feelings was in his eyes, which made me think he is actually a multi personality charcter, but just the mangaka made him evil, haih...)

Second would be Urahara Kisuke, also from Bleach, who wouldn't like an eccentric like him?

Third is L from Death Note. Genius and eccentric, enough said.

Tsukasa from .hack//SIGN because we have the same personality and we kinda like alike.. some people say that and I say "I guess"

and the main reason why I like this character is the white hair!!

I have a few actually ....

First is Kiba from Wolf's Rain because he's just so mysterious but has a soft side also...

Second is Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach because she's simply awesome and her attitude is just so weird to me ...

Third and finally is Dark Mousey from D.N. Angel because again the mysterious and cute factor .. ^-^

Favourite? Thats hard.... But I'd have to say I've really started to like Dio from Last Exile. He's playful and seems to act like life is a game and is always droppin hints to Claus.

-Mello from Death Note: Just a crazy SOB who's addicted to chocolate and a freakin' genius! He's just so awesome that I can't stand it and totally bad-***! Yeah, he's pretty much the greatest!

-Sohma Akito from Fruits Basket: Probably the one character with the greatest back story in this story. It just gets to me whenever I read about Akito's sad little past. Amazing characterization!

Man, where do I start?

Vash the Stampede - I have every reason to choose him

Gaara from Naruto (2nd part. Semi-spoiler warning) - I could identify with his childhood. But the fact that he moved on with his life, warmed up to others and became a great leader made him really admirable.
Rock Lee - The dude can fight in his sleep. That's hardcore. Everything else about his personality is charming, even if he's not that great-looking
Gai-Sensei - Same reason. He's hilarious and kinda ridiculous, but he knows when to get serious. Not only that, but he's physically stronger than even Kakashi.The guy rocks and I don't care who disagrees! <3 xD
Kakashi - He doesn't even act like a ninja, but he's funny and a charming character >_>
Iruka - He's totally underappreciated, but still a great teacher
Naruto - I liked him during the first half of the manga because of his persistence and strong will

Mori from Host Club - I just like the way he looks <3. Strong, silent type all the way
Hikaru and Kaoru (host club) - Reminds me of me and my sisters

Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury - Need I say more?

Count D from Petshop of Horrors - He's just plain cool

Sanzo from Saiyuki - Bad attitude.
Son Goku from Saiyuki - He kicks DBZ's Goku to the curb, in my opinion. <3

Ryuk from Death Note - that face really grows on you
L from Death Note - because of his interesting personality quirks

my favorite character ever would most definately be lina inverse from slayers series. some reasons as to why she's my favorite are that 1. she strong and can blow people, towns and other things up with her spells. she's a strong female character that doesn't need a guys help to get things done *i can't really stand the girl characters that tend to cry all the time, i find that highly annoying*, gotta love the quote you hear her saying "where monsters rampage, i'm there to take them down -- where treasures glitter, i'm there to claim it -- where an enemy rises to face me, victory will be MINE!" i just loved her kick-@ss attitude while watching her when i was younger...and she still my favorite character till this day. ^-^

i like Karin from Chibi Vampire. First, i love vampires, i love her personality, and her dress style. too complicated to explain.
Chibi Vampire is my favorite Anime Series.

I have a few that stand out with me In no particular order:

Nuriko (Chou Ryuuen) from Fushigi Yuugi. Because he stands out. And because he manages to conceal the grief of his past with a smile (and an impressive female wardrobe!). A lot of anime have cross-dressing characters, but somehow Nuriko is a class apart from all of them. I like complex characters...and he's definitely that. I also love Tasuki, Hotohori, Chichiri and Mitsukake (and if we're counting GK Manga, Uruki) though not as much as I do Nuriko.

Hakubi Ryouko from Tenchi Muyou, in all her incarnations. Because she's an anti-hero and I don't like goodie goodie characters. And also because she's funny, too

Fujimiya Ran ("Aya") from WeissKreuz (I can't do the German eszett thing on this keyboard :|). Because again, he's an anti-hero, he's complicated and he doesn't mess things about. I like Omi as well, but I like Aya best. (That might also be a Koyasu Takehito thing however. Much respect for Koyasu-san)

Sohma Kyou from Furuba. Do I even need to explain that? What's not to love about Kyou?

K and Ryuuichi from Gravitation also make me laugh. Especially K.

And I like Dark from DN Angel and Chii from Chobits too, though I wouldn't name either anime among my absolute favourites.

Oh yes And Hisoka from Yami no Matsuei. I like him a lot too

I guess Nuriko and Ryouko are the primary favourites of mine though. Yuugi and Tenchi are the only anime which have driven me to fanfiction so far so I'd say they probably rank higher than the others in my little list

Naomi Armitage from Armitage the third: that girl can kick some serius butt, plus her stoys touching.

Finally Onizuka from Great teacher onizuka he's so pervy but has his moments were he's a hero plus he's hilarious.

Hmm, my favorite anime character would have to be Kamio Misuzu from Air TV.

I absolutely love her character because I could relate to her with a lot of things I do.

My second favorite character would have to be Shia from Pita Ten. I love her, I dunno why but she's awesome.

From Yu Yu Hakusho: Kurama. Hes smart, cool, and calm and loves his friends... but get him mad and...

Yakitate!! Japan: Pirrot! SOOOO funny!

Law of Ueki: Ueki. Hes so STUPID! but you LOVE HIM ANYWAY!

Bleach: Chad. Proves that just because your strong you don't have to be a jerk.
