ganguro isn't even around much anymore. Only suburbanites and 30-somethings still wear it.

I personally like hime gal. it's a mix of gothic lolita and gal - very girly and princess-y.

I like the lolita styles in general. They're pretty cute. Although sometimes it's taken to such an extreme it looks a little scary.

ahh, yeah, srry, but I also hate amirican styles >.> I agree with wu yu. Just like when I saw a car, and it says, ford, and when I also saw the style, I directly hated it, not hate, but not like it.
I like any japanese style.^_^ anything, as long as it's asian/japanese, like me ^^ lol

I don't think I care for any of the fashions I've seen, a lot of it just looks like they're wearing halloween costumes.

I don't have a preference. Personally, I think putting Japanese fashion into a subcategory is idiotic since I think what you consider "Japanese fashion" is pretty universal and not exclusive to just Japan. Whether or not it originated there is up for questioning as well.

What really bothers me about this topic is

I guarantee you, without a shadow of a doubt, that If I said "I hate Japanese fashion because I'm Not Japanese" I would get brutally violated by the entire anime fan population of the forum (read: all of you) and probably accused of being racist. Honestly, pick your words with a little bit more care. It's just flat out ignorance, right there.

Being that I'm a sucker for girly-girl fashions with frills and lace (I'm an uber fan of the mid 1800's victorian fashions with the hoop skirts and such lolz), I'd probably have to go for the loli fashion.

I think everyone caught on to the idea that I meant fashions that originated in Japan, or revolve around Japan in some way.
