Either we are alone in the universe or we are not. Either idea is staggering.
That's still peanuts compared to the distances that separate them.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
true, true

The next planet that was cut out actually wasn't a planet, it was my guns, you see they are so huge compared to anything else in the universe.
I work out.

of course.. imagine this earth is just a tiny thing in universe.. and compare it to people who are also tiny things on earth
The whole thing could just blow your mind away if you really sit and think about it. That is neat though.
Thanks Hitsugaya389!
I will be in Vietnam/Japan until the 26th, so my posting may be limited!
Jesus Christ the sun is HUUUUUGGGEEE Those real large planets that pop up made me go WTF?

we're like ants...actually we're just air blowing away compare to the universe..i was watching a program on the history channel where scientist believe that one day the universe will explode
they gave an example.. they took a balloon and as they blow it
they explainr that, that's how the universe is expending every year
and as they kept blowing it?...
the balloon pop, so this means the universe will pop and leave nothing behind..
it would only be less than a second for everything to just dissapear..
less than a second, every human being die..
i feel small... waaaaaaa!!!
I'm Back~!
Sorry I was gone so long! I had so much to do!
The Earth could fit into Jupiter 1000 times comfortably. If that doesn't tell you how miniscule we are then somethin' just ain't tickin'.
History Channel rules.
Even though this world may be small the disastors and mistakes this planets inhabitents make are incredibly huge. Even more so since they dont seem to learn by them.. it is sad.
I remember a similar example being used by a famous scientist named Dexter. He had his own lab and everything. Well, I was watching his program and on one episode he ate a burrito and gas slowly built up in his stomach. He ran an expriment on a balloon, slowly filling it up with gas, and it popped! So surely he would pop too?
Anyways, back to topic, if there is one. It pretty basic stuff, since most of the educated society learns this in grade school. But so what if human beings are mere specs of germs in the grand scale of the universe? That doesn't make life less enjoyable. Video games are still fun and cake still tastes good. That's all I need to know.
face·less –adjective 2.lacking personal distinction or identity
I still dont believe we are small in the universe. I will admit that we are 'smaller' than the universe though.
"All we are....is dust in the wind dude"- Bill and Teds excellent adventure.

The universe is so insanely huge that a human mind can't comprehend it. It has no frame of reference. There is no way anyone could ever truly grasp how huge it really is. Try this though, it might help just a bit: At light speed, which is supposedly the fastest anything can go, it would take billions of years to cross our own galaxy. Now take into consideration that there are trillions, if not more, galaxies in the universe, one that is expanding at just under the speed of light. Makes you feel small, huh? And perhaps it should make skeptics about intelligent life in our universe think twice. There is no possible way the primitive, quick to judge, irrational human being as it is today could ever understand that it is impossible to be alone in such a vast amount of space.
