i didnt see much stuff on air gear so i wanted to start a thread about it.. i really love air gear but only just started watching it so does any one know how many volumes there are right now?? i was hoping to buy some...

My basic rant on Air Gear, simplified:
1. Reaffirms that Oh!Great is a god of manga illustration.
2. The manga is epic, and absolutely outstanding.
3. The anime sucks. It covers less than the first half of the story set up by the manga(while also warping the story and several characters), and then just stops. It provides no climax, and more importantly, no ending. In addition, the art of the manga is nowhere to be found, and the animation is average at best.
As for your questions, there are 17 volumes of manga so far in Japan, as the series is still ongoing; 3 are available so far in the United States. The anime consists of 25 episodes, but I try to pretend it doesn't exist, so, I have no more information on it's distribution.
