An exchange for a little bit of happiness is a life shattering pain. Bend if you must not break.
you are very talented, be proud of your work, show it off with pride. I can understand why your mom would say it looks raped, although it isn't it has a very sad or desolate look in her eye, a beautiful picture and the eye makes you want to go up and hug her, tell her everything will be alright. i love the emotion that comes out of your drawings, always remember its not the artist that draws but their heart and emotion are what guides there hand..
The world changed, whilst I slept soundly.
The revival. I know its pretty lame.. But i tried.
My entry to the contest. I was just bored so I tried to draw some. Comments and constructive criticisms are welcomed.
And here was the scans of it, one the real drawing then the other one is edited by pentool..
Aw those are so cuuuuuute! The face is a bit angular, would have been better to round it out but ah it's so adorable ^_^
Tru Fax: Princess Minako wrestled Jesus... and won
cute one zy!
Here are a few of my suggestions though...determine your light source, for example, if the character is lighted from the upper left as the shadows on her face suggest, then her body would have casted shadows on the right loop of the ribbon, right side parts of her clothes, etc.
Hmmm... how about putting a shadow of the character so that it would seem that she's not floating...or if you intended her to float, I still suggest you put a shadow just the same but is not attached to the drawing... Just basically to show the placement of the character on the space...^.^
Hmmm... you could put in a shadow on the middle of the face to suggest a nose. To brighten up the eyes, add a near circular white on both the iris/colored part of her eyes. Also, determine the white part of the eyes--seems like you've colored it with the same hue as the skin...^.^; Am very particular with the eyes...LOL
Still, cute though! ^.^ Just practice the where to put light-shadow to give your drawing a more 'together' look.
Hope you find the suggestions helpful. Keep it up and post some more artworks soon. Motto kaizen! Ganbare! ^.^
I'm so lame in that eye part. Need to find tutorials... >_>
Thank you all said god Uru and thank you too Mini. Angular?? Hmm.. okay. okay.
Good Luck to me! Haha.
Oh, did it mostly come out as jibberish? ^.^;
Well, just that... hmmm, practice "lighting" in your drawings. For example: stand right below a light source, say a light bulb, and hold a mirror to see yourself. Notice where the shadows and the lighted parts are... then take 2 steps to the right and observe how the placement of the lighted and shadowed portions change... It shows how the position of a character/object/subject from a light source affects the lighted and darkened portion of the subject. Now apply that principle in your drawings... ^.^
Hmmm, the eye part... not that a tutorial is really THAT necessary... but you may try to look for an anime character with nice big eyes... stare at the eyes *don't forget to blink once in a while LOL* Then look at the eyes of YOUR character... then the OTHER character... hmmm, note which portions are white, colored and darkened. The white portions on the colored part of the eyes show that light falls upon the eyes and somewhat further gives the character life...*or so I think...LOL* ^.^
Hope, it's a little clearer now and of course more helpful...^.^
Good luck with your CG!
Hope to see more.
Wow, your arts are simply brilliant! =D They're cute. I especially like the eyes. Eh, it doesn't matter if you don't draw hands. I'm not good at them either. ^^; I can never draw this cute. Need to practice. By the way, I like that big red ribbon cause it emphasizes her cuteness. ^^
I failed to notice the update of mah lovely Zy's thread!!!!
*sits in corner and cries*,oh forgive me Zy!!!!!
Lol,now let's get serious...
OMIGOD,your faces are always sooo cute!!
This one might have some no-proportional sides, for the left side is a bit bigger than the right, which is a mistake since she's looking forward...
But that doesn't really matters..
I like the way you do hair, but I'll have to say that ears shouldn't be so...out...maybe??
But seriously, despite those small mistakes, this is awesome...
Way better than I could do >.<
I suck when it comes to coloring something...
This is seriously a very fine work,I love the coloring...
Ah,I see you droped in few shadows...
Very nice ^^
I like the whole idea of the drawing, and I do like chibistic proportions...
Well done Zy...
Your latest work was nicely done. It is indeed adorable. To make your artwork a little better, try to make the outline of her face and hair smoother. It will definitely give it a great effect. Overall, I really love your work. Keep it up, Zyronet! I'll be looking forward to see more of your amazing stuff. ;D
Holy crap you can draw! The only thing you could work on are proportions (like most people x3) But your such an artist! Keep it up!
Siggeh made by me. Taking requests ATM! =3
This is an incomplete image. It's an angel like decoration for Christmas trees, well.. that's how I based it from. Haha. I wonder what colors would I use on it?
I'm just making an update...=3
Oh la la,and fresh update!!
Incomplete indeed,but looking good...
I wonder how the outcome will look like XD
I would prefer coloring the Santa type,like red/black/white ...
I love the starting outcome, and I definitely like the hair...
The face might be a bit too sharp edged, but wth..
Now tell me,did you draw that with some PC program,or simply with hand...??
I've asked since it seems like it's done in some program...
Pretty sure I've already been here, but since you asked me to come, [poof] I"m here! =3
I"ll comment on the girl you drew on paper (not the one you entered for the contest).
Lol, I can't read the second word "This unst? made me smile."
YOur overall proportions are great, but the eyes are a little far apart. I love the fact that you drew guild lines. (I'm too lazy to do that) <<;
Really adore your eye style, very pretty.=3 The ears are a little out of place, and so is the neck. Great job on the shading though. Love her hair, and the straps look really nice.
You draw really well, one of the best peeps here, good job! <3
Siggeh made by me. Taking requests ATM! =3
That is pretty good.
lol. It seems flawless to me.
The proportions look okay. Everything seems to flow well together.
I really like her hair. Awesome job on that. [:
Keep it up. I'll be looking forward to see more of your fantabulous drawings, Zyronet.
You are so good! ^_^ Your style is simple and yet so detailed-ish-nish! I love them! ^_^ Your faces are great! =)
I love how you do the faces- especially the eyes, gah! I'm jealous, hehe. Keep up the fantastic work!
*Akari--- Yep! I notice that too. Haha. I did so many mistakes on that drawing, I think I just put it there to revive the thread. The ears and stuffs. >_>
*Hama--- Maybe white and red would do. I dunno. The face.. edged again? Hmm..
Anyways..Thanks to everyone who posted a comment. Zy appreciates everything.
