I don't take your question for concept, but rather someone I love would I die for..?

Nope, in the idea of the concept of love. Isn't that important for me to die over because I would love to write books, make games and conquer the world than die for this "love" you preach about.

If I had to take my life for someone I loved I wouldn't mind doing it, for no better is the lesson learned for the individual to survive by her/his lover risking my life for them. Than willl they truly appreciate relationship and life, while I have served them another go at life. Now when I say all ths in Male context, I mean as a friend, brother, cetera not homosexuality.

She/He better name their child after me and make sure that child travels the world, learns martial arts from Chuck Norris and can spit hot fire. Matter of fact I am tempted to make a pretty big list of things that child named after me must fulfill in my sacrifice of living and dreams for that sperm...

What do you think your love would want you to do, if you must die to save them?

Think about it, if your love loved you just like you love him/her, would they want you to die so they could live?

As for the main topic, that all depends. I would try to assess all options, and try to get us both out of the situation alive before sacrificing myself. If in the end only i could save her, with my life in the balance then I'd have to say I'd take that chance. She's too important to me to just let her die, and I would want her to live on.

But that brings up other questions, because if they lived to love you, when you die, what would they live for?
