Is it morally right to marry someone rich if you do not love them?

In my opinion, I would say it's morally wrong to marry someone for money and not for love.
Much love to Jagan Eye for the lovely set. <3

Hmm.... maybe... like how rich are we talkin?
Nah, I wouldn't do that ^^. Love's what's important... and stuff... o.O
why marry some1 if you dont even like him... right???
CERTIFIED
What is love anyway? I believe someone being a "suga mumma'" is love itself, look at all the people who have become rich over marrying a celebrity.

It depends really.
You can marry for money, when you have none your own, but because you married for money you can finally support your children.
Can go to school
idk.
If you marry for money and only plan to spend for yourself, then yes it's bad
Very bad.
Infact, quite bad.
Once again, amazing props to the talented Paprika!!

What if you love money? >.> You know, some people are like that.
For me, I shall stay single and get my own money the hard way! I'll earn it! Then, if that doesn't work, I'll marry a rich business executive. ;P
i will only merry a rich
if i like him and treet me good
what if you can't stand the persons personality? i wouldn't marry some for their money, i mean come on, what if i hate the person? and i'd prefer to marry someone i love.
Be not afraid by who I am , but afraid of who You might be

What if there were children you needed to support, and this new spouse would give a lot of relief to supporting them?
I can't make a call on whether or not such a thing is moral. It's not my place. I doubt I would do it, though.

Depends on the person and the money, really. I'd be OK with it.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

Getting married is all about love, a couple that loves eachother to the point that they are ready for a new beginning together. Getting married for money is definitely not a respectful thing to do for yourself and the person you're getting married with. Basically, there are things that wife and husband has to do after marriage (darn straight!?), does that mean the person would actually give "that" up for money? isn't that a little bit wrong?!

Is it right? Morally, no. But I believe that if most people had the chance to marry someone ungodly rich, they probably would. Talking morals is much more common that walking morals.
Just because you are marrying for money, that doesn't necessarily mean that you are not in love with, or at least like, the other individual. If it was someone I hated, I wouldn't, but if it was someone I felt positive about, why not? One must also consider, in the situation that it is an individual one likes, that a bond of love can form after the fact. For example, if I was friends with Oprah and had no feelings of romantic love for her, and she asked me to marry her, I probably would. 1: It's an individual I like 2: $9,000,000,000.
But, of course, a love-based marriage would be more important to me

i not agreee.......
the reson is ummm......bit personal though
We observe all.....Then when do we move?
We cant just wait and see right?

it depends. if tat person love u more than u love him and he is rich, i dun see the prob. but if u really marry a person tat u really love but he is poor, u will eventually see the prob coming. u will start fighting over financial prob. when i say poor is those really really poor. average is still acceptable. u can still love him but think carefully if really wanna commit to tat person.
only if you want
You must be honest to yourself and ask; will you be happy with someone who you don't love? You will spend with this person all your life. Money is not all. I wouldn't marry someone who is rich but I don't love him. The marriage wouldn't make me happy.
Frankly speaking it depends in the person.
If you really need money, and you have the guts to sacrifice such important issue for having the true love, then do it. [probably it might be your true love after all.. nice. and it would probably be fun..]
But if you are like those people who are into the passion of liking the person as it is, then so be it. Its not like you cant have money when you marry for love right?
Moral issues rarely have yes or no answers.
I'm an idealist, so I say love is everthing. But money's important. If you dont hv anything to live from, there could be a small problem with the whole love thing. But for me personally, I couldn't marry someone I don't love. No matter how rich they were.
Dream like you live forever, Live like you die today.
We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are.
I don't think I'd ever do it but I don't consider it immoral as long as both people are aware of the conditions of the arrangement and nobody is being led on. Different things work for different people I guess.

8(2x+3x-15)+2=7+19
8(5x-15)+2=26
40x - 120 + 2 = 26
40x - 118 = 26
40x=I saw what you did with that thirteen year old.
A++
yes. if you both agree that is why you are doing it.

It all depends on the fact if the person has any morals and what those are >>
and why not "Get rich or die trying ..... "
