Live Action

I never found one live action movie or series derived from anime and manga that I really liked although I have seen a few. I found out that there's a live action version of Grave of the Fireflies and thought it might be good but I still haven't seen it.

Is there Live action movie or series that you've seen that you really liked? What is it? What current anime series or movie that doesn't have a live action that you would like to see have a live action version? I think Rurouni Kenshin, Black Lagoon, and Monster would make a good live action series. What do you think?

The live action movie to Hotaru no Haka ended up being too political in my opinion. Especially the ending credits.

Best live action versions I have seen so far are Gokusen and Kurosagi. Kurosagi is definitley a master piece. So is Ace wo Nerae since it features Aya Ueto, one of my favorite actresses.

But I would like to see a live action Hajime no Ippo.

I've seen Prince of Tennis live action its not that i really like it but the really followed their techniques and is nice....heheheh...^^

i also saw Honey and Clover and its really nice...i really like it!....heheheh...^^

Monster would make a good live action series.

i heard awhile back that hollywood bought this series an is planin to make a live action out of it, but its been awhile since iv heard anythin so who knows.
as for good live actions, i really liked the saikano live action, i allso liked the death note movies and the ichi the killer movie, alltho i havnt seen the anime for either of them

shingetsutan tsukihime is an anime i would like to see live action, not only couse i love it, but i think is possible to pull it off with out ruinin the series

I've have quite a few live actions from anime/manga and like quite a few of them. Some of the ones i liked that came from anime and/or manga would probably consist of GTO, devil beside you *from the manga akuma de souro aka the devil does exist*, Nodame Cantabile, grave of the fireflies, battle royale, gokusen and a few others....

some series that i would love to see a live action version of would probably include meine liebe, weiss kruez, king of thorns*from manga*, partner*from manga*, meisou kuiki*from manga*, more gokusen...preferably season one...cuz they should really continue with more sawada...but in the 2 one they had a whole new group of students....

It's ironic that they were made by Chinese and not Japanese people. Hah. The GTO LA was probably the best Live Action series in Japan. If you want to watch something like that I would suggest watching something other than series based off of mangas and anime. They seem to be alot better.

And if it were high budget, I would like to see something like Gundam. A totally new one would be fine as long as they used a lot of money on computer graphic animations and put a considerable amount of time thinking out the story and such.

I've seen Basilisk live action, but they changed the name to Shinobi... it was one of the first live-action I've seen. I actually thought that the movie had good quality, but some things were really unreal... o.o

And it gave me a Naruto feeling... -_-
I enjoy live action a lot and I plan to watch Death Note... soon.

Saw Prince of Tennis Live Action and didn't like it, saw Death Note and it was bleh for my taste (bleh doesn't equal bad, just bleh), Nana= bleh as well, saw Saikano and I liked it a bit... also saw Shinobi and I don't know if I can call it a movie or a live action because Kouga Ninpo Cho was a book first oO, and liked it a bit as well...

I would like to see in Live Action something like Gundam, xxxHolic or Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 <3

Not a big fan of international live action. I've only experienced the old Kung fu flicks based in China or Malaysia.
