Do you enjoy the chase?

For both guys and gals. I love the chase, for me its more than half the fun. XD I love the feeling of butterflies in my stomach and nervousness. The unsureness (is that a word?) of it all is totally appealing to me. I love the satisfaction I feel when I know im closing in, that I almost have that woman and almost have made her mine. <3 And each loss is mourned, but quickly followed by determination to get back the lost ground.

Do YOU love the chase too?

I'd say I like the chase. But yes as you said each loss can do you in. But you always go back to get that pride back of yours. You go out again and do it. But I'd say, the only reason I enjoy the chase is that I actually have fun while doing it.

I don't like being chased, it makes me really uncomfortable and I've never ever ever given in to someone who's "chased" me. I'm the extremely annoying girl who is attracted to the ones that ignore me.

For me, "the chase" is a very long strategic game. I'm not into mind games, or messing with someones emotions, but I think the whole process of wooing and what not can be considered somewhat of a game.

So yes I guess I enjoy the chase, thats how I captured my current bf.

Yeah I think it's annoying to be chased I as a guy I don't chase it's time waste I will wait till I see something from who I think that likes me like I am to. Then I give it a try but I won't chase. =x

The chase is the worst part about relationships.

From the chaser's perspective, it's one of two situations. 1) It's way more trouble than it's worth, and you would be just wasting your time for someone lame. Or 2) You have to work so hard at acting like someone you're not in order to get the attention of the person that it is so important to be with.

And from the other end, if someone's chasing me, I'll let them know straight up how I feel. I don't want someone to either get tired of chasing me because I'm too good at avoiding it, and I don't want someone to chase me when I want nothing to do with them.

I love a good strategy game, don't get me wrong. But when it comes to relationships, the best situation is when you're not playing against each other. It's when you're on the same team, fighting to beat someone else.

You don't have to pretend to be someone you're not when chasing someone, though more often than not that's the case. I'm talking about honestly trying to woo someone. Showing them sides of you that you wouldn't show anyone else, trying to hang out with that person and get to know them as much as possible, and yes, buying overly expensie gifts. I don't know about y'all, but I love spoiling my woman.

I never go on a "chase". A chase, to me, is a waste of time (which is probably why I haven't been in a relationship in awhile). I just don't like it. It's a sick, sad little game that a guy or a girl plays in order to get what they want by whatever means necessary, and I hate that. So I just like...let things happen.

Buying gifts is very different from the "chase"

I will buy near anything for someone I care that much about, in as much as I'd expect similar feelings from her. If she isn't as well off financially as I am, I wouldn't expect such gifts, but I would expect that she would use her own strengths to try to make me as happy as I try to make her.
But this is well after a relationship has been established.

Though I'm not sure I could ever bring myself to call someone "my woman". One of the most appealing things I can see in a girl is that she can identify herself apart from her partner. "My girlfriend" but she's her own woman.

If I'm literally chased, like around a yard or something, I hate it because I feel like a killer is coming to chop off my head.
In the other sense, I guess it's very flattering when I'm chased, but it puts me under too much pressure so it's a bit uncomfortable.
If I chase someone....it's exciting for me, as long as I don't think about the end result.

Ah, yes. The chase. I don't think I remember how to 'chase' anymore. I know I did not like it. Not one bit. I only wanted to know if the kid liked me or not. None of this....Get to be friends and maybe something will turn out better...Nope. Just wanted to know the straight answer. No. I hate the chase.

I didn't chase my ex-fiance, and I didn't chase my current one. And I didn't make either of them chase me.

If someone tries, and I'm not interested, I tell them right off the bat. I do not like headgames. What's worse is "the chase" when you've already decided to be together! There are OTHER ways to make your relationship interesting. If you need to involve "the chase", your relationship is already doomed.

I just like telling someone how I feel in plain, clear cut words, and I like the same in return... Before, during, and (if there is an) after the relationship.

I used to like the chase, until one went on for years and years and ended with nothing. The chase and the games killed a chance for us, so now... it's all at once or nothing at all. It's kind of like a burst of passion. Very fun.

anyways. Yes, I love the chase, but only when I'm doing the chasing. This became a problem for quite a while, because before I got married I actually looked good

I get turned off SO quickly when the person gives in too. My husband hates it, because usually he has to let me go to him.
