Do you believe in love at first sight? Well, do you?

Honestly I don't. Because if a guy looks at you and "loves" you...then he only loves you for your looks.
But thats just my opinion.

That's what I thought in the beginning about love at first sight. I never believed in love to begin with. But something happened to me six months ago which made me change my mind about this matter.
I was on my way home and this guy saw me walking in the hallway. He kept staring at me and stopped me to have a convo with him. We talked and such. Since that day, he was after me till now. Everyday his love keeps growing for me and eventually turned into obsession. And FYI, I'm not a good looking at all which makes it weird. o_o;
Don't you think that's love at first sight? =/

I didn't until I met my ex and my current boyfriend. With my ex, it started out online. So he had no idea what I looked like. I met him here, actually. We talked for an hour or so, and started dating. We would STILL be dating if he didn't slip into a coma a year ago (Still in the coma today. I've given up hope..) along with several other reasons that's hard to explain. Then I met my current boyfriend about a month ago, we only talked for 5 minutes and started dating that same day. I finally got my phone so now we're calling eachother. He's in the hospital right now, though. Good thing I have unlimited free texting cause we already sent around 30 text essages just this morning. Lol

i agree...for me, you can only say that you love a person after you get to know who he/she is deep inside...not just for the looks...lust is way different from love...

Uhh, there's lust at first sight, but not love. When you look at someone for the first time and find them attractive, that's it. You might come to love them later, after you get to know them, or you might even end up hating them. Judging people by their looks is not such a great way to determine if you love them or not.

Love is something that takes time to grow and make it's self known, love at first sight- well that's more like infatuation or lust.

No and No. I believe in "Lust at first sight," where you can feel some sort of attraction to the person, physically, but the emotional attraction has to be slowly built in a small stepping stones. You can't just right into love, it's almost impossible to look at someone and be like, "Oh, I love them" because you don't kow anything about the person. For all you know they could be a psycho serial killer like Mr. Brooks, or have a double life. But lust at first sight I'll say I agree to, but definitely NOT love.

No, I don't believe in love first sight. It's more of 'looks first sight' or whatever you want to call it. I think it's just idealistic to think that there's actually a love at first sight. Our feelings are not that simple. I don't usually fall in love with people. If I do, then there'd be too many that I love by now.
