You need to work on quality and on blending your pics a bit better, also, your stuff is kinda repetitive, I suggest reading some tutorials to help. and dont streach the pics for the avatar, they turn out pixily

Depending on what you use, i would really have to say that when, if you are using photoshop that is, you are free transforming it to fit the signature, hold down Shift so that way the pictures turn out at better quality.

i apriciate the critics guys but lets get one thing straight. that something is wrong with a signature is my style. i am not gonna make the beauty petoetie stuff that you may like for that kind of things you need to go maru dashi or gandizz those are the beauty sigmakers and there good at it to So if you don't like my style sorry but i am not gonna change it.

Well you're getting better and better everytime I check out your stuff Nespa.

You don't see sigs using Elwen too often, I think it's nice but the BG is just a lil plain, no biggie though.

I REALLY love the Nighthunter set though, it's wonderful.

Your sigs are really good there's really nothing I can tell you to improve on seeing as how it's your style. ...But I might suggest keeping an eye on your spelling.

For the love of... I used to work with Paint Shop Pro for over 2 months. Can you PLEASE explain how you make the charas look so pixelated and low-quality? I just can't seem to understand. As far as I've known, PSP isn't capable of making images look awful. How do you make it do that?

Actually, I like your style very much. It is much different than others out there. However, if you would like any critiques on something you could do to improve your style as it is now, I would agree with Shodaime. You might want to work on the quality of your images more - they seem a bit pixelated except for the last two, so you might be working on it already.

Anyway, keep up the great work and I hope to see more from you. I really liked the frozen heart set!

Well..it's the right size.

A simple 1 pixel border around it is enough, not..the..default one? >>;
The picture itself although, is blurry and stretched..
and If I hadn't seen the actual sig itself..I would of

PSP can be used in a much better way,
And in personal opinion, please break this style..it's, ugh.
Try out a few tuts, try to take into account other's advice and
you might begin to see the improvement.

As for the frozen heart set, I am sorry to say but it is stretched and blurry. The text is pixelerated and jagged. The background does not match at all. I know you like having your own style, but for the love of god, please, pixeleratedness and borders looking like a photo frame are a big no-no. I do not know if these borders are default from Paint Shop Pro, but MY paint shop pro does not have borders like that, and if I had, I would not use them because they do not match. At all. PSP offers much more, so please, listen to the advice of others. Ofcourse you can keep your own style and originality but these signatures are blurry, pixelerated and stretched.

As for the Chobits set, the borders are good! It looks much better that way. The edges of the image are jagged though, and the dots within the letters are too much. Also, it doesn't fit too well with the background.

i actulay find al the critics funny two or three are on my case and the rest is like "oh god this is so ugly it burns my eyes". i wil try to heighten the quality but no i wil not change my style. sorry chibi i apriciate you wanna help but like i said, for the beauty stuff go to gandizz his corner. He is beauty sigmaker, as for the frozen heart thing i tryed to make it look a bit like blizzard since the char is a ice user or water user. but the picture took most of the sig (trust me it would be more pixalated if i made the pic smaller. second i never rendert it, so that one thing you cant't blame on me . i wonder if this what picasso went through when he made his paintinga haha.

i've used many of your sets and i've always found that they just look different to everyone elses. i can see what the critics are saying but i've always found my sets to be above average quality, thats why i think im gona ask for another.
just to say, i don't use photo shop or anything like that so i don't know how much my opinion can account for but keep it up anyway

PS: is that Mia from golden sun in the frozen hearts set? cause golden sun is like the best GBA game ever!!! and lost age aswell.

Maybe you should start opening your eyes to critique? Every good graphic designer knows THAT is the way to success. Because, darling, the sweet little 'ommmggg those sigs rock" or "your style is da bomb keep it up" comments are comming from people who perhaps aren't even familiar with image editing programs and real graphic design. No no, I am not implying
that any of them are stupid or anything else of that nature. Just slightly lost around those sort of things.
I've heard that you have been making stuff for about.. Six years? Correct me if I'm wrong. And with all my respect to your hard work, I think you're still a noob at this. To tell you the truth, I'm starting to doubt you even use PSP. This is more Ms Paint stuff.

And don't go around thinking I'm such a mean person that I flame your thread and tell everyone your graphic work sucks. Because I don't. This is just advice. All I'm saying is, if you want acknowledgement from the more experienced graphic designers, you'll listen to what me and others critics say and start improving your work.

Oh, by the way. What DO you do with the images if you don't render them?

sighs what part of my style does not get through. i take the critques along, i just don't change my style. if you don't like it then don't look at it. and i don't have to prove anything to you trinity as long as i know the thruth. I don't really see people who wanna help me, al i mostly see are people that want me to change me style and i just don't do that sorry.

Look. No one's asking you to change your style [If blurry backgrounds, pixelated stocks and bigbehind borders can be considered as a style]. Defending your own way of sig-making is great, really. But the style itself must be something to look at. By the way, isn't a graphic-designing all ABOUT changing styles and improving? [Bri <3] And from what I've seen, you never changed anything. You make sets every day and they all look the same. It's just pixelated characters, blurry backgrounds, huge borders and emo pick-up lines.

You are too stubborn to admit you are not a good graphic designer. Okay fine. I won't argue with you anymore. But know this.. No serious graphic-designer I know [and I know a lot of them, trust me] will -ever- consider you or your designing skills decent if you go on. It's your choice whether to continue creating low-quality images and letting other lost members inflate your ego, thus making a fool out of yourself in front of serious people OR improve and earn respect.

everyone views art and signature in a diffrent way. Yes my sigs wil never win a contest and i probely not be in high regards with the 'finer' sig makers. But sigmaking is merely a hobby for my it's not like i earn my money with it and i am often a outcome for newer people that do not have the money yet for a higher quality signature. I know that most 'admires' and people who say 'your work is so cool' wil leave eventualy. but i don't mind that because for everyone that leaves a new one wil takes it place. Shallow? perhaps but there is a small group of few people that keep liking my work and for them i make the signatures. i am have no ego, i am a noob sigmaker and i am proud of it. If you cannot respect that then we have nothing to talk about i am afraid.

P.S. the only reason people are rude about it is because they're trying to give you hints, ideas, etc. to help IMPROVE your "style," not trying to change it.
Maybe you should try considering their ideas, or thanking them, rather than being rude about it.

-sigh- Please don't take Trinity and chibi's words the wrong way. They're in no way insulting her work. From the experienced to the most recent artists, no one has any right to spontaneously insult another's work. It's common courtesy and respect.

In no way is anyone pressuring her to "change her style" There's a difference between evolving and completely remaking something. Many of us have just noticed that Nespa has never changed her style or gone out of the box in over a year, which is unusual for graphic artists (don't take this offensively).

In all honestly, it's her decision, and seeing as how she's happy, and her fans are happy with the work, then at it's core things are well.

I don't think there's any need to get into an argument.

In terms of criticism, they've both said more than I can as a newbie artist..but I will compliment you Nespa on confidence in your own beliefs. Just please don't take misunderstanding for flaming.
