How do you deal with anger?

for me.. when i'm angry.. i either turn off my tv and lights and sit in my room in darkness thinking.. or i turn on my ps2 and play something usually violent such as grand theft auto or tekken and take out my frustration and anger on computer a.i. over and over and over again..

so how do you people deal with your anger?

Nothing angers me anymore. . . .

Before I threw things, punched walls, got into fights, screamed to my pillow. . . . Yeah it wasn't cool.

Yeah, I don't really get angry...but I usually just scream or I kick stuff...
It's usually my brother who I get angry though, I usually punch him or hit...but I am a little weakling so I don't do any damage...

i don't get angry quickly...but when I do i'm not a nice person..

if I want to get rid of my anger, i ussually just leave the room and take a walk outside.
wether it's snowing, storming or sunny, i just go outside

Before: I would scream and lose all sanity and try to break things. (I had anger management issues before)

Now: I'd just listen to music at full volume... or eat.

Music on... with a hiiiiiigh volume. I would maybe also eat or go to bed and try to sleep.
Happens that I take it out on others, but I try not to. That's when I ignore people instead so I won't be able to take it out on them ._.

i don't get angry very often, almost never.
when i do, there's usualy a good reason, and that good reason requests action, so i just go with it ^^

actually, im not the type of person who gets mad immediately...
but, when im angry, i usually keep it to myself until such time i can no longer take it then i just burst out!
mostly when that happens, my friends know when to back out......

I like it when im angry, i am under control on a physical lvl, but my mental is out of control. Then my inspiration kicks in at the highest level possible and then i go and draw or write my feelings. After i do that i am free of any anger and i can find a way to forgive whoever made me angry.

wow you people can good control your anger. If i get anger i fight the person that makes me anger or i punch a wall and thats painful.i get angry very quick because i am short tempered

truth be told, I'm bi-polar with serious manic episodes, so I'm on medication

before the medication, well people usually got hurt.

I have a cigarette. That ususally calms me down quite a bit (regardless of what others may say). Sometimes I'll play heavy metal music and just rock out too, its very relaxing, lol.

Now I either go for a walk, go to sleep or play DDR until I collapse.

I used to punch the ground too...so its an upgrade.

But even my patience has it's limits,so when I get angery,I like to go out and run like a wild animal,or start practicing on makiwara...
But that practice results bloody hands,so I use it only when I'm really pissed off^^

silence is my best way to get over it.. or..
-sleep ( yeah, i lay down in the bed and the next thing i know the time pass quickly..)
-walk around where ever my feet goes..
-take a deep breath..

..but if gets serious, that it really mads me mad..
you may hear insults from me.. really.. especially if i dont like that person..
