I really cant help but to notice that it reminds me very much of Ayanami Rei,from NGE...
Anyway,if it is yours,then you're pretty good...
Now,dont get mad,for I am going to give you my opinion:
I like the way you colored it,but there's one tiny problem...
You need to fix eyes,they aren't equall,right eye is bigger then left(for seeing as frontal face,that's a tiny little problem)...
And the shoulders are kinda to small,try resizing them...
Rest of your work should look awesome if you try fixing it...

You're using ideas of some already created character's,then you create your own character based on their look,it's how I see it...
Still,this isn't necesarily a bad thing,since you're begginer,I can say that you've done great art^^
Now,for this 2nd pic of yours...
The reason why I said this above,is that the face and hair of this character reminds me of that lady on the begining of Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust...
Again,this is only how I see it,so I think you'll say that I'm wrong...

Anyway,her chin is bit bent,but the rest is fitting perfectly...
And for being created in only 10 minutes...

Oh hey, and this is the Fan Art forum. Fancy that! Someone actually posting work here that isn't original characters, but FAN ART. In the FAN ART forum!? Surely not! Gasp and zounds!

Seriously, stand down, Hamashimura. The only time someone will get in trouble here for stealing art is when they take something actually drawn by someone else and post it as their own. Drawing things based on characters from an existing anime or manga is actually the point of this forum. I think at one point the old mod even outlawed original characters here. So yeah.

Rozen, you're off to a great start if this is the first time you've tried anime style. I really like your Rei's hair. Keep working at it, and the style will come easier, eventually.
