Transparency in Photoshop 7 question

Okay, here's my question, (and I have examples for referrance sake) how do you produce a complete transparency using Photoshop 7 and saving in PNG format? I have created a few sigs, and on my comp it looks transparent when displayed on AF, but everyone else says you can see white where it should be transparent, (example follows).

Can someone hook me up with a tut or something to correct it so the white doesn't show up?

It's a Internet Explorer issue I think. I have IE and see the white area, but when I use Firefox it is transparent. If they upgrade to the latest browsers I think they should be able to see transparency correctly.

Have you saved it in Edit>Save for web in PNG-24? That's how I save mine...

Yeah, blame the IE6 for not displaying correctly the PNGs alpha channels ... Firefox and IE7 shouldn't have any problems ^_^

Yes because even if your document is transparent saving it in .JPEG will turn the transparency into white.

OH! Thank you so much. I'll try saving them in the For web format thingy. I have IE7, and that must be why it doesn't show up white on mine. LOL Everyone get IE7! Once again thanks for all the tips. Now I must save this page to my comp so I remember this handy info.
