How can you prefer something over something if you haven't played it?
Either way, the Pokémon series will never end .. but these Diamond/Pearl versions are a big upgrade from GBA versions.

-WiFi battles
-WiFi trading
-2D~3D graphics mix

These reasons are enough for me to buy the game. Of course there are alot of new Pokémons, a new story and so on.

i got mine when it came out. all my pokemon are in the 70 range. and i've beaten the elite four around 15 times. and my bro got the game so I got all the starters!

My team changes all the time. But I always try to include my Lucario. I've been in love with Lucario since I first saw it, and all the hype from the movie and a certain other game (no spoilers!) have only added to my euphoria.

I love pokemon but for some reason this game hasn't seen that many hours as previous versions have . I think it's because after trading for everthing to fill my dex withing the first few weeks of getting the game the excitement died down .

I do need to get back to playing though , I caught a few shinnies here and there (which is how I pass the time in my game not much of a battler ) but I hear there is going to be a Darkrai event this summer . So I have to pick it up again .

Well, what sort of Pokemon are you using? What's your movesets?
I loved Diamond thoroughly - being able to use the WiFi system to get - yes this is naughty... - some "hacked" Pokemon. I would have gladly gone to GTS, but people put up the most RIDICULOUS trading "prices". I don't use any of the "hacked" Pokemon I have in battles, as most are legendaries, and legendaries I just have as a collection purpose.

Story sucked in Diamond immensely, but gameplay was epic - hence why I have nearly got 200hrs in Diamond.

Current team, which I also transferred, as well with the REST of my collection, where put onto Battle Revolution.

ok in the case of ev points how many actual total points get added to a stat a small number like 25 to 40 or 100 & up? second if I were to ev train my pokemon I do it to balance out the areas where a pokemon lacks, like mewtwo or lucario they both are alittle low in both def and sp.def so thats where I'd ev train them and the remaining points to something else. by ev training that way a pokemon can do better in battle epically if it lacks in speed like spritomb or other pokemon that are hurting there. I'm mainly posting this in the hopes of understanding ev's more and hopefully help other understand as well, but that doesn't I'm going start any ev training. anyway any and all info I will greatly take with full gratitude. thanks in advance rep given to those who post info or you can pm me.

You should generally focus your EV's on the Pokemons strong points, not on slightly increasing it's weak points. For instance Mewtwo, who is good at Sp. attack and Speed, you should increase those stats even more since that what hes good at, with a ton of speed he can get the first attack and with a ton of sp. attack he can OHKO the opponent before they even have a chance to attack him. Same with pokemon that have naturally high defence, you should increase that stat even more since its what it's good at. Increasing natually bad stats is just a waste of EV's.
