Here's a thinker if God made people what made God?

That question has always bothered me, thus my lack of faith in God. I find the "big bang" theory to be more realistic

God was just there simple as that. he wasn't born or nothing he was just there and created this place that we call the universe

You know, even with that whole "god just exists" circular logic about a being outside of time never really having a beginning point, regardless of how you look at it, something would have formed that being.
Honestly, that's something you may never know until you die, and hopefully reach heaven. Now, I'm christian and believe that you're acting on faith. If you go through life with faith, without questioning, you'll get all your answers after death.
I was always curious about what started it all. I don't believe in god, personally. I'm drawing a blank as I think of how it could have started, something to think about tonight...
Same person who made Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.
All The Ways You Wish Could Be? That's me
There will be many different answers to this. I prefer not to say my opinion outloud, since I wouldn't want to side with one side or the other.
Just so you know, the laws of physic do not exist before time zero and since there is no point of origin (just an small area) something started it. Some use this to justify the existance of a deity but I still don't know.
This is a kind of chase your own tail question. Where did the universe come from?
simplest explanation: God.
So where did god come from?
simplest explanation: he's eternal, he was simply always there and always will be there.
But how?
simplest explanation: IT JUST IS!!!
That's just a stupid unfounded and unsupportable statement.
...And around and around we go...
This really a very pointless question to pursue. It's pretty much impossible to find the answer and even if we did find the answer it would probably just bring up more impossible questions. I am agnostic and as an agnostic I'm not particularly situated on any side of the "Is there a God?" question.
It's just too complicated and just not that important of a question to me. I mean it would be nice to know to be relieved of this unfulfulled curiosity as to an absolute and unquestionable origin of the universe (and possibly God). However, as nice as that would be I don't really think it matters that much in our every day lives. It's just curiosity. It's not like we need to answer the question to continue living and in death, I suppose we'll know for sure. At least as to whether there's a god or not and that's good enough for me.
...I think (or rather hope) that contained some intelligence and that some one understood what I was saying...
ah well,

dude
Even if you went to Heaven after death, God would probably speak in riddles or redirect your question. He would(if he does exist) think about how fragile some idiots brain can be and would not tell them. I don't think we should think about it because the question would destroy Christianity and Judaism's logic(it had logic?).
I can't believe in something I don't understand so I don't think of the subject "How did the Universe start?" and by extension Religion.
Well, ignoring the part about a deity, the universe just is. Something, at some point either created itself from nothing or never not existed. The universe is its own cause.
Ehhh, I dunno if I'll stick around. We'll see.

The belief in God means the belief that God created the word created; therefore there wasn’t such a thing as creating anything until God created creating. So if you believe in God then yes it is very logical.
Also you can argue the scientific theories if you like, but in the end they aren't scientific at all cause they are only theories, science is based on fact and not on theory.

the simple thing here is faith.faith that God has no beginning and has always been there.yup,i think that sums it up for me.^^ it's like you believing in something like luck before taking a test or doing a really risky thing.can't be proven its there but once you've finished it you know it helped.haha.did that mean anything?^^'
If you need to ask yourself that, you are ignorant of physics. The big bang is not the creation of matter, but the creation of space and time itself (time and space are not made out of matter) . The mass just came with it, as sort of a byproduct of the event.
Agreed. God has become more logic defying over the years, no doubt; as the clergy has tried their best to patch some of the leaks in the hull of the inevitably sinking boat of religion.

Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
God didn't make people, people made god.
That's my view on the matter.
I'm sorry, but
"God created everything. God himself did not need to be created because he has just always been there. Why? Because that's how it is. Period."
doesn't solve anything for me. If I believed that god came out of nowhere I could just as well believe that the whole world came out of nowhere (which I don't)
Chuck Norris made god....
