Japanimation and Manga Admirers' Day

We, as members of the anime community, suggest establishing a worldwide holiday dedicated to all anime and manga lovers all over the world.

Most people will not argue the fact that the numbers of those into japanimation are incredibly big (to say the least) and are getting even bigger. Moreover, the subculture has its own developed structure. Various anime-related conventions are held all over the world, there are all kinds of anime/manga/etc-related activities, movements and clubs available in many countries. Furthermore, there is a vast ammount of anime-related information that one can find on amateur and professional webpages.

It is to show our UNITY and our way of life why we suggest establishing this holiday.

Imagine: on a certain day hundreds of thousands of anime/manga lovers would congtratulate each other on this event, send postcards and make presents... Perhaps they would take to the streets of their native towns and cities to impress other people with cosplay, to show that there are people like them all over the planet, and that there are many of them.

Now imagine it!
