Lies

Have you ever told a lie, and it escalated in details and accuracy? So much that although it seems ridiculous after awhile, people still believe it? For example, a big lie that lasted for a really long time and was very embellished?

Hmmm... this question seems confusing to explain. ^^; Basically, have you ever told a lie (or have encountered one) that is TOTALLY untrue but has lasted a long time for some strange reason? Was it really detailed and elaborate? How did you (or the person) come up with the idea? And do you consider yourself a "master storyteller" for telling that great lie? Or was it someone else who twisted it into something else?

You're just asking for someone emo to come in here and say that lie you speak of is religion or something like that. I've noticed there are a lot of negative people on AF, and thats fine for them if they want to die of a stroke at 40. But onto your question. High school rumors get kinda like that. Some girl says another is a nappy-headed ho (couldn't resist xD) and that goes all around school, gaining in extravagance and usually stupidity

I'll be honest now. I've told lies before to keep myself out of trouble or joking. I even lied about my school. I mean, it's just something personal and I don't even know the person. But I usually try to not lie. I don't like lying and liars.

The biggest lie I've ever told was indeed elaborate and it went on for almost a year. I regret it everyday because it nearly destroyed my relationship with my mother. But I know if I had to, I would do it again because lying still seems like the only option in that situation.

W-what? "Someone emo"? No no, this thread was made just for some laughs. I'm not asking for serious lies, just little ones that don't hurt relationships but are funny in how they grew.

Mine biggest lie was against teacher. I don't know what the lie is about anymore only it was a treble one, because it was two years ago. first some guys heard it and before i new it there where treble rumors going over me. Then mine mom knew it and got mad at me. I told her it was a lie only she didn't believe me and i ended up taking stupid tests. Now i never tell such lie but still they think the lie is true and thought i lied on the test.

Biggest lei was to fool a girl thinking I was a vampire.. hahah... and when i said I was a werewolf she still belive me... the moral of this is not to be obsessed about vampires and say you have a boyfriend for a vampire, gosh but the lei was spoiled by a friend... Heck poor girl wonder what or who she tought I was... I just love scaring people and freaking them out, but that is not me, i'm more likely a helper... that girl was obsessed about vamps
