...And about head-banging, I'm not the kind of person that bangs its head frenetically, it depends if i'm hyperactive or not in that moment XD

Try Kyuss. They are arguably metal (albeit jamming metal), but the lyrics are sang instead of screamed and about detachment and lack of purpose instead of human lameness. A lot of the folks from Queens of the Stone Age were involved in it, back in the day.

Ah, metal. My all time favorite form of music. Almost all I can stand listening to. Everything else usually puts me to sleep because it's too soft.

I know some of these are not metal bands but I headbang to them. Except Evanescence. I just sing to that.

To back up Masali: You don't need metal to headbang. I headbang to trance (and I'm fully aware that makes me an uberloser).

I also headbang to Delerium's "Incantation".

However, I love metal, and used to be a big headbanger before I had three head concussions. I don't headbang, anymore.

Edit - A few metal bands I really, really like: Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Yngwie fdsklfjdksl (That's probably how you spell it, too. I don't feel like looking), Therion, Leaves' Eyes.

You can also headbang to industrial.

Me personally? I love Drowning Pool, Sevendust(Thanks to someone! HAH), Bullet For My Valentine(Which isn't really headbanging music, but they have a few.) I am also a Behemoth fan, which is strictly death metal. ;~; Amongst the others are Korn, Marilyn Manson=<3, Lamb of God, Flogging Molly, etc. =3 Do I qualify as a head banger? =D
