excel saga: what the hell is going on!? XD lol

(for anyone who's watched excel saga)
i noticed this since the beginning by watching this, but we don't get whats going on!? but it's extremly funny this show, this show i've just found out is trying to be making fun of the japanese media and animes that are very different then the ones we know, it's quite surprizing to see the main characters do two absoloutly different things but end up in the same place? i mean they don't even know their neighbors, also the main charatcer hatchan always dies?????? i mean what the heck??? but it's really funny this anime i have to say, anyone else knoiw this anime?

I own the Excel Saga Box Set. lemme explain a few things

Hyatt(Hatchan) Always dies because she is not of earth and has problems breathing human air, thus she always coughs up blood. as far as Hyatt and Excel doing completely different things? Hyatt and Excel are like Ying and Yang. minus the final episode which all hell breaks loose in.

There's not one thing Excel Saga doesn't parody well. I especially liked the Parody of Koshi Rikido's Municipal Force Daitenzen Manga.

The best thing I can do is explain it in the sense that, Nothing in Excel Saga is supposed to make sense.

It's done purely for sattire and comedic purposes.

lol and she seems to have allot of blood (ep 26), i had this series for awile now and funny as, especially if your bored senseless (like NGE life and death did to me).

was it dubbed well (never got round to getting an English copy)

excel saga was pretty fun, but i liked the puny puny poemy spin off ova much more hehe, that was one high speed hilarity train runnin me down, must see for thoes that liked excell

Personally, I believe the dubbed version is better than the japanese. Also, if you watch every episode carefully a few times, you'll start to make sense of things. I've seen the entire series 8 times and I think I'm starting to get it now. Either that or I'm going just as crazy as Exel is.

hm, same even i had the same problem when i first watched it on dvd, i kept going back again and again to understand what the hell they ment, lol, even the info bubble on couldn't explain properly, but it funny some situations XD

I have to agree. Especially so on the first episode. The info bubbles do explain alot though if you haven't read the manga. (I'm a prime example )
