I’m still here but you are not
You were taken away when it wasn’t time
Looking into the mirror I can see you waving
Why were you taken away?

I was told you were a great person
I regret not knowing you better
I have a picture to remember you by
Someday I will rejoin you when it’s my time

People never know how much they can miss someone
Until they are taken away from them
So lock me up and throw away the key
For it seems like I’m never leaving this place

In spirit you’re still here
Making sure I don’t do anything cowardly
I will see you again
For the memory of you is not forgotten
