Then, if you like your country and Japan, plz give up such a narrow mind.

Yes, the NEP. It was not an abandoment of the principles all together. He knew his Communist theory. A country, especially not a country whose primary GNP comes from agriculture (like how Russia was before the revolution), cannot go from capitalism to communism in a single bound. Socialism has to come in between the two. Furthermore Russia's economy was horrible prior to the war which in turn would impede any attempt to make a succesful transition to communism near impossible. I wouldn't go as far as to say that "Lenin realized that communism is workable only on paper" though. Yes, he knew that the USSR was not ready for communism, but he had not given up hope that it could work.

I agree with you. China is not a communist country. Far from it in fact.

Why do think that China isn't communist? It is communist, however, not nearly as strict as the other communist states. It bordering from being communist to being authoritarian with some socialist parts. Also, the fact that it is communist is why China split up into two parts; The People's Republic of China (the mainland, which is communist) and the Republic of China (commonly known as Taiwan or Chinese Taipei, which is not communist). The split happened after the Chinese Civil War between the Communist Party of China and the Nationalist Party of China.

However, China being communist should not be a reason not to trade with them. If we thought like this, we might as well stop trading with every country with a government different than our own like New Zealand or Russia or the United Kingdom....or Japan.

By the way, why are some of you people bringing up Lenin and Russia? How about Mao Zedong since he's related?!?

I don't think china is interested in taking over the usa anytime soon. They have a much bigger problem a shortage of women to be precise.
