Like a lot of people have already listed, I have a lot of Arc En Ciel songs on my playlists.

Many of the songs I have connect to anime more than random artists. Although I have a couple of Shimetani Hitomi CDs (yeah I know she did Angelus for Inuyasha and probably other stuff, but I got into her music because of a friend pestering me with Mermaid. Garnet Moon is also really pretty...)

I have one Kanna Nobutoshi (as Hayashi Nobutoshi) CD (unrelated to anime) because he has an amazing voice. I seriously wish that I could lay hands on E.M.U CDs (if they exist) because he's also a damn good guitar player.

I have a lot of Weiss Kreuz CDs/songs because I'm a fan of Seki Tomokazu and Koyasu Takehito. Particularly Seki-san. Another with a really nice voice (Shindemo Ii is one of my favourites)

Otherwise I have a lot (a LOT) of random songs by random bands that I've just picked up along the way. I have a few by High and Mighty Color that I like, there's the theme song for Yami by To Destination (Eden - I love this track so much) and my list is pretty eclectic all in all.

Then obviously I have the majorly anime connected kind of songs for Fushigi Yuugi and Tenchi Muyou And I have quite a lot of Kotani Kinya thanks to Gravitation too. (That music is addictive...)

Yep...fairly random. Aside from the odd artist I tend to look more for songs I like than care too much about who's performing them.

My absolute favorite is Asian Kung-Fu Generation. I've been into them for years, and have all of their albums (I only have half of that split-album they did with Caramelman, which was their first album-ish thing). I also have two of their DVDs. Favorite songs are "Flashback", "Rashinban", "Loop&Loop", "Jihei Tansaku", "Angou no Waltz", and "Sono Woke wo" at the moment.

I'm also a big fan of Ellegarden; I have all of their albums. I was going to get the U.S. release of Eleven Firecrackers, but I figured I already had the Japanese, so it'd be buying the same thing twice. Favorite songs from them are "No. 13", "Perfect Days", "Red Hot", "Bored of Everything", "My Bloody Holiday".

I used to be really into HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR. Their first album, Groover, was great, and got me hooked. The second album, Gou on Progressive, was kind of a let down because it sounded almost nothing like Groover, but it did have a few good songs. San was a good album, but I still don't think it matched up with Groover. Favorite songs are "Houseki no Namida", "Pride", "Run Run Run", "Sweet Escape", and "Ichirin no Hana".

Also, Straightener, again, I have all of their albums. They have an interesting sound, fairly comparable to Asian Kung-Fu Generation. Favorite songs are "The Nowarist" and "Killer Tune".

Do As Infinity!!!! the person sounds so much like Minami Takeyama... [Asakura Hao's voice person] i love Takeyama Minami... i love the sound, so love anything that is similar to his/her voice.
also, SIAM SHADE. the guitar player, Kazuma, writes his own stuffs, and it is GREAT. i highly reccomend them, and their album ZERO. XD
i like all the stuff by Yuki Kajura [who writes stuffs for .Hack//] too. i reccomend her, too. [.Hack//SIGN volume one is where to find her]
