[SGI News] Japanese scammed into buying sheep they thought were poddles

Thousands of Japanese have been swindled in a scam in which they were sold Australian and British sheep and told they were poodles, The Sun newspaper reported today. Flocks of sheep were imported to Japan and then sold by a company called Poodles as Pets, marketed as fashionable accessories, available at $1,600 each.
That is a snip compared to a real poodle which retails for twice that much in Japan.

Ok there is a huge chance they were just plain stupid.

One couple said they became suspicious when they took their "dog" to have its claws trimmed and were told it had hooves.

Thats kind of like asking for a horse, getting a camel and then not knowing the difference. How do you spend $1,600.00 on something without knowing what it's supposed to look like? This is Japan people. Technology is everywhere. Just Google the word sheep.
