Do you mean Blood+ because I've never heard of blood.
That's what he means. It premiered of AdultSwim last night.
I thought it was a spectacular anime. It was well put together, the music was awesome...a lot was done by some of my favorite artists..., and the animation was very good.
My only really problem is that Saya becomes far too angsty in the last 3rd of the series.
The dub sounded great, with the exception of Saya's voice, which seemed a bit to upbeat and high-pitched for her character. She's a very contemplative and introspective character, but the voice didn't reflect upon that.
Oh, and it is about a girl name Saya, who was adopted by a family a year before the story begins. She can't remember anything before that. The story reveals her past and has her and those around her battle with a genetic-mutation-thing called Chiroptera...it is loosely based of that older movie Blood: The Last Vampire...though it has nothing to do with "vampires" per se.

I watched it last night, it was awesome I can't wait to see the rest of the show. The animation is excellent and the music was pretty good too.
I recorded it, and I still have to watch it! XD
It looks really good. I think I might have a series to watch for a while. Does anybody know how many episodes it goes for.

I new about the anime a long time ago. The thing was, I never actually saw it. I was to busy watching other anime and decided to wait till I finished watching the other anime. But I completely forgot about it. I'm glad that they showed in on AdultSwim.
Sig no longer in development...

Is it one of those anime's that only come on saturday or is it an everyday thing.

It was just AMAZING! I liked Saya's brother and I fell in love with Hagi!!! Kyaa!!
And the story is good too. I liked the sword that Hagi gave to Saya. Just so cool.
I love Blood+.
So do I.
But if you watch the japanese version, it's just so good. Hagi's voice is sexy jaja
Yeah, I watched that too.
The first episode was really confusing and there was so much blood (go figure) that I kind of didn't want to look at my tv screen anymore. It was all SPLUUUUUURT! and AAAAAAAH! and EEEEEK!
Yeah. That pretty much sums up the first episode. -_^

Well, to COMPLETELY understand what is going on, you would had to have seen the movie Blood: The Last Vampire. Saya is seeing visions of her past but, if you saw the movie, you would understand these visions.
Honestly, I love this series, mostly because I love watching anything with large amounts of blood in it (I know I am weird ) and a weird story (Can anyone say "vampire rape"?. What does that mean? Watch the series and find out silly!!! ).
For anyone who watches this: pay close attention to what is going on because it can get really confusing at times....especially if did not watch Blood: The Last Vampire before seeing this.

I did not watch Blood: The last vampire and I didn't find her visions to be that hard to understand. I'm up to episode 31, and I think I understand pretty well. (I'm sure I probably don't know have of it, but whatever.)

You don't need to see Blood: The Last Vampire to understand Blood+. Blood+ did a great job of making itself standalone, without needing support from Blood: The Last Vampire. Blood+ works as most series do, which implies that the questions it holds in the beginning are slowly unraveled as the series begins. Watching Blood: The Last Vampire in addition to Blood+ would really just be a spoiler for Blood+. It isn't necessary, and in a way will ruin the potential surprises of Blood+. If anything, it would be better to watch Blood: The Last Vampire after Blood+. Quite honestly, Blood+ isn't confusing it all. It just starts off, like many anime do, with questions which will eventually be answered. You don't need to know everything about the series in the beginning. One of the main points of a series is to answer those questions which are formed in the beginning.
Also...I don't remember any of this "vampire rape" you mention.
"The color fades along the intervals I follow."
Point taken. I guess I understood more because of the movie...and the book (maybe I will ask my friends if they still understand what is going on in the anime because they have not seen the movie...nor want to).
Also, about the whole "vampire rape" thing? I am not sure how to explain that with out ruining the last half of the series for the other people (but that should give you a hint where to find what I am talking about).

I thought the storyline is a bet dull and dry, I watched a few episodes, but I couldn't find myself becoming interested in it.
Most anime that come on [as] is pretty good. That's really the only place I can ever watch it ^^, Blood+ is really good. I love the music!
