valentinesday means nothing to me, it's just a way to make more money for the stores to much comercial stuf. I don't even think alot of people know what the day is based on.

and al the guys on my work are pervs that are twice my age so no thank you cupid, shoot that arrow in someone else his behind but leave mine alone *thinks about it to put a wooden plate in her pants incase off* lol

As it's already Valentine's here in Aussieland, I'm in a bit of a mushy mood (thus posting in this thread ;p). I'll say this, though. Whether taken or not, I've always enjoyed Valentine's. Even when I've had someone, I've never looked at it as a "prove your love for me with chocolates, flowers, and hearts!!!" day. That's...well, silly in my book. Instead I like to simply spend some time with that person (or any person I care about, if not attached), and do something nice for them. For example, today I'm running some errands for my hubby while he's out, and cooking him one of his favorite meals for supper. Simple, but says something more than buying him roses, you know?

For those who have someone, don't obsess over what to buy them. Just show them you're thinking of them, and appreciate them. For those who don't have someone, do the very same thing for someone you care about. There's nothing wrong with not having a date on Valentine's, but there's also no reason you should have to spend it alone and glum over that.

Very stereotypical. Atleast, thats what I get a lot from people.

=O! No fair! Shopping for girls is soo much easier than shopping for guys. I spent a cool $120 on John's gift ;_____;

Well the arrangement was about 90, handling was 10, delivery 10, and the rest was add-ons (bear, ballons, etc). I got carried away. ^^;

Not every one is born to love romantically (like many people here). Its nice that you like Valentines. I don't like it that much since I'm kinda emo-ish. The pretty/handsome people are psyched up about it, but the other "normal" people won't care about it. At least thats the case here. Eat some cookies and send your friends cards. That would be nice.

usually since none of my friends have bf we usually hang out being bored all day. but also i go out to eat with my family if they don't have dates (kind of hard know) but then we could always sit around and watch tv and read or go along with ur sister or brother on there date.

ahh valentines day ^^ or for most it as known as "single's awareness day" where they become painfully aware they have no g/f or b/f and sometimes they'll become bitter and jealous, or gloomy and depressed. then again, some just dont care at all ^^

but for the few single people who like this holiday, make the most of it. what better day to buy flowers or chocolates and send them to someone you got a crush on to let them know how ya feel ^^
