Code Geass- anybody seen it?

Seems like an interesting series, even if I've only watched the first episode. So far, it's about a Japan that's been subjugated by the Britannia Empire (which is also a thinly-veiled British Empire), and a whole bunch of mechs, gunfire, futuristic . . . stuff. Seems good so far, have any of you watched it? Seems fairly new, so it has, hmm, potential.

Did a search- so far nobody's made a thread on this.

A note- do any of you know where to watch something like this? I only caught this episode on [edit]

This is an anime I'm following at the moment, but I have yet to catch up with a few episodes.

This show is rather well made, but I do get a little.. Full Metal Panic feeling. =/
Nothing else to add at this point.

its my replacement for a year without gundam the other mech anime that i watch besides Super Robot Wars.. what i like most about it is the story is pretty original even though the characters themselves seem like they were taken from other animes *cough*suzaku - Kira*cough*

usually not fan of CLAMP stuff, but this one looks OK. i dont like the charcter nina though, cuz shes a total racist. funny though, because she says she hates Elevens (the subjugated Japanese people) but of course she's speaking Japanese. The rest of my club has mixed feelings: one guy loves it, the rest dont really care, and another wouldt touch it after watching the first five episodes

I've watched a few episodes of this and I think it is quite good.

It somehow gives me a feeling of Deathnote and Gundam in one Anime. Very interesting.
