I'll just put what i accidently wrote in to the Shippuden thread ^ ^'

Is it just me or is Sasuke just a little too confindent in himself, not to mention arrogant in Chapter 344? I like the little flashback into Orochimaru's past and why his true form was a white snake though, plus little Oro reminds me of a young Gaara kind of. ^ ^

The only thing bugging me now is what's Sasuke going to do when he defeats Orochimaru (since I'm pretty sure he will), other then of course go find Itachi. Then there's Naruto recoperating in Konoha who's probably Atatsuki's next target. So if Atasuki's looking for Naruto, and Sasuke is going to be looking for Atatsuki, then there is most likely going to be another encounter between them. XD

Wish it would have shown more of the fight though. Cant wait for the next chapter.

I personally think that Sasuke won. If it was Orochimaru that won then I think he would be more exited and probably be doing an evil laugh. But the reaction at the end was very Sasuke like. Plus they showed the flashback of Itachi and kept talking about how powerful his eyes were. Besides, Sasuke looked wayyyyy too calm while in the jutsu. With the sharingan it may have been possible for him to see a weakness in Orochimarus jutsu.

Of course, I could be wrong.

There is quite a few possibility's, that being one. Would be kind of neat I think if Oro did succeed, but sasuke was still in somewhat of control (split personality lol).

Not to far fetched that if Oro did succeed that Sasuke could still be in Oro's "other demintion" alive and trying to find a way out, maybe using his eye?

I have, seems like Sasuke has won and freed a new character(looks like one of Oro's experiments.).

Don't know about this, but it looks like this is the end for Oro... Got to wait for english version to come out so I can understand it better heh.

346 is out and translated.

Seems like Narutos new jutsu is even more powerful/dangerous than anyone had even anticipated. It actually does damage at the celular level. And here I thought it was just an impact jutsu. But it seems like a two edged sword since it does damage to him as well.

As for Sasuke....YEAH BABY!!! I'm sorry to see Orochimaru go but Sasuke is a BEAST!!! He beat Orochimaru with his own jutsu and it was all because of that sharingan. The last few chapters seem to prove the point that Orochimaru went after Sasuke not just because he thought Itachi would be difficult but because he COULD NOT defeat Itachi. And it looks like Sasuke had some kind of plan in mind the entire time.

As for the end of the chapter, it seems like Sasuke has an ally. He released someone named "Mizugetsu"* (I feel like I got robbed) from a chamber. Maybe Sasuke thinks it will be hard to get to Itachi by himself. After all Itachi has a partner who is very powerful and probably the backing of the rest of Akatsuki. Sasuke may be trying to put together his own team to counter that.

So whats gonna happen to Kabuto now that Orochimaru was defeated? Will Orochimaru come back somehow at some point? Any thoughts?

Well I don't think we should count Orochimaru out yet. I mean Sasuke did say that he has taken control of himself for the time being. So maybe Orochimaru's just in the back of Sasuke's mind somewhere ready to pop out, I'm thinking maybe something like Kyuubi in Naruto's mind. I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see.

As for Mizugetsu...I seriously don't know what to say about him. At first I thought Sasuke just started talking to the tank suddenly, and the tank was talking back. oO;; But I agree with your theory Mugetsu, about him trying to get help to defeat Itachi. Very un-Sasuke like for him to ask for help I think, but it looks like he's smart enough to know that even he can't defeat Akatsuki by himself.

Orochimaru is not "in" Sasuke. From what I can tell he is trapped in the dimension that he used to perform the body switching ritual. Even if he was in Sasuke I doubt Sasuke would get any power from it. He would probably just feel weird.

I just didn't want to double post and was too laxy to edit, yet not too lazy to make a new post...strange.

That was one of the funniest moments in Naruto history. Granted I was somewhat...disturbed that Konohamaru even thought up that "gameplan" but it was worth it to see Sakura knocked down a peg. And the expression on the guys faces (all except for Sai of course) were hilarious. I always knew that she was the most perverted one out of them all. My vote for the next Hokage...Konohamaru.

It appears that Sasuke's new running buddy, Mizugetsu (totally ripped me of) is from the Mist village and now has Zabuzas sword. Honestly I'm kind of surprised that it was still there after like 4 years.

Chapter 347 was...interesting. It made me think, not to metion squeal with happy yaoi fangirl joy. First off, where and WHY did Konohamaru want to learn that in the first place (not that I'm complaining) I just really want to know. >> Then there's Mizugetsu standing around in his birthday suit like right behind Sasuke telling him that he's not in charge. Then when they get to the Great Naruto Bridge in the Mist was that kind of a half-smile I saw there from Sasuke or was it just me? Anyways this is definatly one of my favorite chapters in the series so far.

I've seen spoilers for chapter 348 and it looks like the new female recruit Karin, (I think is her name, correct me if I'm wrong) is yet another Sasuke fangirl who he like always refuses. I only have seen a few pages so yeah not much info on that chapter just yet, but unlike the other recent chapters it looks quite boring in my opinion.

That justsu just proves that Konohamaru is a true genuis ninja. He prepared jutsu for any opponent. From what I hear he is coming up with a "game plan" that involves goats. Don't ask.

The Great Naruto Bridge....ah, the memories. I bet he did get some what nostalgic when they went there. Afterall, it's not like Sasuke hates Naruto & the others, he just puts his ahead of his friendship. If he really hated them, he would have killed them long ago.

I did feel that 348 was some what dull. At least we know that Mizugetsu can wield that insane Zabuza sword. And apparently he can make one arm really huge and muscular. I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that when he first appeared he looked like a puddle.

Like Mugetsu said, nostalgia all around. What with the Great Naruto Bridge, and Zabuza and Haku's graves...I'm just surprised his sword didn't rust after being in the mist for 3 years.
I think I could grow to like this Karin person.
Suigetsu(or Mizugetsu, depending on who's translating it) seems pretty cool. I guess he and Karin are "failed" experiements in opposition to Kimimaro's successive experimentation. It just shows that Orochimaru had a lot more power that we really suspected...including that prison or what not.

Now I'm left wondering why it was that Suigetsu told the prisons to spread the word that Sasuke was going to "Spread peace throughout the world"...doesn't seem like that's what he'd be doing...

I doubt Sasuke would have told him to say that. Maybe Suigetsu (still a rip off lol) is just messing with Sasuke. It seems to me that he is only helping Sasuke because he set him free. Maybe he has a mischievous personality and is just looking to liven up the trip.

Actually when I saw him go to the prisoners I could swear that he was gonna kill them. He just has that look to him. Like he was gonna use it as a chance to test out his new zanbatō. So I guess he's not as evil as he looks.

I just sort of want to hear what Konoha's reaction to the "spreading peace" thing is going to be. It'll probably be pretty humorous. And as for Suigetsu I've gotten pretty curious as to what his motive for following sasuke is. He says he needs sasuke for something but i wonder what he is, and why is he talking about peace? Its strange and out of place and thats just making me wonder.

On a side note, does anyone have any idea what Karin's power is. She seems to have a certain "finding" ability but I don't think thats the whole story. It seems rather...mundane for it to be the only reason Sasuke recruited her.

Ok, is it me or are "The Adventures Of Sasuke" after killing Orochimaru getting boring. Since he has been gathering his crew together the only things that I have found interesting are

1) the cursed seal is not something Orochimaru made up himself
2) Zabuzas sword wasn't stolen from his grave
3) Konohamarus various "game plans" lol

Other than that I feel that there has been a major drop off from the battles against Akatsuki. And is it me or does Sasukes personality seem way different from what it was? Right now he seems very bland and uninteresting. At least before he had the whole arrogant thing going for him. Now he just seems bored. Suigetsu seems to be the life of all the chapters. I assume that he is doing this to help his changes at getting at Itachi, but he hasn't even mentioned him once yet.

I like the new sasuke. I find his bored appearance more interesting because, for me at least, it creates a more "what the hell is he thinking" sort of feel because you know all those emotions he was so vocal about before didn't disappear. Now he seems to be repressing them. Defentalilty gives him an almost, cruely objective sort of feeling to him. Though Sasuke can't really be used as comic relief anymore since he has to stay menacing so i think thats why they have Karin and Suigetsu, I have a feeling they will be the light-heart people who take away from the melodrama Sasuke exudes.

As for the pacing, i like it. They need to take the readers down off their "battle high" as someone referred to it. They need to move the sasuke plot along and have it moving towards its intersecting point with the main story. If they decided to take it slow here, well, thats just as good. What they need to do is develop his lackies, for i fear that if they don't develop them soon they are gonna die before they develop. And I'm tired of loosing potentially cool characters to premature death (poor Tayuya... we hardly knew thee).

Speaking of developing characters....where the heck is Rock Lee??? I thought that a little more attention would have been paid to the "rookie 9" considering the huge boost Shikamaru got. Even Chouji & Ino got a little face time. Why not utilize some of the more relatively popular "other" characters a bit more? I know people often joke that the creator forgot about Tenten but I'm starting to think that it might actually be true.

give him some credit. Who Doesn't forget about Tenten? She has as much personality as a block of wood on a grey monday. Still, it is rather suprising that some of the others haven't been taken up, but I bet there will probably be certain "vs Akatsuki pair" battles that each group will fight in. Moving the focus from group to group i suppose.

Well the "lack of personality" stems from the creator not the created. How much personality would Neji really have without his back story? Would we (by that I mean myself and those who do) love the character of Rock Lee so much if we didn't see how hard he worked from day one to be a ninja? It's obvious that Shino is supposed to be mysterious as they come but they haven't even tried with Tenten. The most she got was a few episodes in a filler where a lightning using ninja beat her down. Thats just sad.

But since everyone made chunin (even Tenten lol) they "should" all be a lot stronger. They should try to make them seem more useful than what they did with Ino. She literally did nothing in the last fight while Chouji at least got a hit in.

Well, honestly a lot of the examples you just used were faultily applied, effectively saying, 'would we think Rock Lee had so much personality if he didn't have so much personality?' But I see what your saying. But, like i said, they probably don't want to overstretch and develop too many characters simultaneously, just focus on a one or two subcharacters at a time.

Actually the point was that if they did not give a back story for these characters, then they would have seemed just as life less as Tenten. The more you know about a character who isn't always in the spotlight, the more you tend to care whether they live or die. At this point they could have Neji, Guy & Lee come back from a mission and say "Tenten died. Sorry" (no flashback or explanation) and no one would even bat an eye.

..maybe in the not so distant future a clash or cooperation of Team Snake and Team 7? Expect Itachi soon...

And that one scene where Karin slaps Suigetsu and part of his face turns into water...eh???

I wonder who Naruto's bringing along...
