Well without technology I'd be standing naked in a large empty field, because there'd be no clothing or buildings. It's about -37°C here, so I'm guessing not too long.

I think the longest I tried this was about, oh, a week and a half. ...never again...*shudder*
Not long, I lack survival training and would likely die of a poison mushroom...or something else deadly in the UK...maybe a bog...
The Tao of Rayne - Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience...if that fails, try something in the dairy variety.
Hmm....I don't know how long I could go, but I have gone at least, 2 weeks without it. It wasn't easy. >.>

Technology in general - A day at max. If you're talking about "technology," any tool such as a shovel goes under here.
Electronics - A couple of years. As long as I have a knife, I should be fine.

Well I guess I could last awhile without technology...but then that brings up the question...how much do I really value my sanity?
To which the answer would be yes, I do value it...
So I'd be able to last maybe 10 mins.
I have the habit of walking into my study every 5-10 mins to see who is on MSN. Geeze that stupid program is addictive.
Come on, what you guys this isn't roughing it at all. Be real men and women. Trade in those color televisions for some real entertainment - shadow puppetry!
I'd probably make it two days without a microwave. Other than that, I'd do pretty good without technology. Unless you count showering and other person hygiene products, then I'd die.
...Well, then again, not bathing may be fun. Smelly is in these days, and if my teeth fall out, that'll just make them easier to brush.

If you consider indoor plumbing to be part of technology, then I'd not last a day. I need my running water and a working toilet.
And depending on the climate, what foods were available, I'd last a few months, maybe longer as I won't hunt animals for food. >_< I'm not a very good cook over an open flame (see my handy work on the grill...black...so very black) so anything requiring cooking probably wouldn't be very edible. I'm disinclined to eat anything other than most fruits and a few vegetables raw. So if fruits and veggies can't be found all year where I'm at, then I'll die a slow death of starvation. T_T

The problem with technology and society these days is that we all rely way too much on it. Back before technology came about, people were able to survive. Now that we have tons of it, people are more "babyish" about life. They HAVE to have technology do everything for them or they can't handle anything.
Technology makes life easy but it also makes people paranoid and lazy. Just think what would happen if all of a sudden we were forced to live without technology. It would be the end of the world with most people.
Humans can survive. They did it back then and they can do it now. Society just isn't used to living without it so we all think we can't survive.

I probably couldn't go without technology for a day where I live. But if I lived in a 'Legend of Zelda' style place (wood hut villages etc.)(which I'd love to), I think I'd be alright without technology.
Well I live without technology 2-3 months out of the year up at a reservation, and we all get along really well without it, but to truely live without tech you'd really have to change everything about your life. I have always wanted to try it though.
"And when he goes to heaven,To Saint Peter he will tell,'One more soldier reporting sir,I've served my time in hell' "
Well, being it that without technology as in no advancements in benefit of the human race, not long. That'd mean no fridge, guns, knives, or tools.

heh heh, how screwed America would be if an EMP was detonated high up in the atmosphere...

Right, if you mean electronics specifically... well I could stay alive just fine but I'd probably kill myself from the extreme boredom. >_> Or get into street racing since AFAIK cars don't need to contain any electronics (diesel = no spark plugs, use a hand-crank starter, no lights, and that should be it).

um, wouldn't technology include your braing?, well anyways, about a month.
The last time that I have been without technology was two years ago. I went to Europe to visit my relatives. I was there for about a month. I was fine. Only because I used to have dial up, internet didn't seem so important.
Avatar and sig by me.
Probably about ten minutes.
I can't go anywhere without my CD player and without that I get bored so easily. ><; that aside if I don't get on the Internet at least once a day I get all grouchy. o_0;
That, and if I don't go on I will get my butt handed to me on a silver platter by a few people on TrackMania if I'm not on every day.
I can live without a cell phone though. I have one and I never use it XD
