My username keeps off without me doing anything and I had to sign on again and then later it signs off. It is happening now even as you read this. What happened? If it's the "cookies" I try clearing them and it kept on happening.

No, that's not a cookie problem. When you log in, make sure you tick off the "Remember me" option. This will solve your problem
I get to sign on again...and it was on "Remember me" ever since I registered.

Try checking if you haven't set your browser to block cookies from this site or the cookie security settings set too high. They should be set on medium.
And then try to log off and re-log in. Also ... don't forget to clear your cache. Not sure if it's related, but clearing it doesn't hurt.
If the problem persists post your browser type and version in your next post.
As Flash has said, please make sure to choose the "Remember Me" option when signing on. Previously, this option was selected by default. But now it is unselected by default.
Thank you.
