Silence. . .

Darkness enveloping all.
It has taken control,
I can't surpress it.
A raging storm of silence. . . .
With my heart spilling out,
I'm caught, trapped. . .
Silence has taken over,
It has trapped my soul. . .
Like a firefly, my soul's light
Glows against the darkness,
But the darkness is too strong,
I am overpowered...My soul screams
as the fly fades. . . .
Fading. . . .Disappearing. . . .
With my last strength, I scream out
In desperate hopes that my shattering cry
will pierce the silence.
My voice, like an arrow of life
shatters the silence, blowing life into
the fly's faded wings.
They spread out, glowing
with a newfound light.
The light chases the silence away. . . .
Fleeing like a purple shadow. . . .
The spirit of silence is gone. . .
Shattered by light. . . .
The light of earth. . . .
