My Winter WonderlandIn my winter wonderland
I walk through the blinding light
I sweat in the blazing heat
I strip my clothes to a scarce few
Just like they all do
In the summer days
Yet I don’t laugh in the light
Yet I don’t enjoy the blazing heat
Yet I don’t feel pleasant showing skin
I am unlike them all
I enjoy the chill of the winter
I lay in the cold snow
I smile at the cold winds
I curl up in the bulky clothing
This is my world
This chilly winter wonderland
Where winds blow against my face
Whispering of the unknown
Coaxing me deeper into the dark winter night
Leave me be
In the cold of my home
I prefer this dark chill
To the blinding heat
They can have their sweltering heat
I shall be happy
