Ok I really wanna know if I am the only one that supports the president out there anymore. and if anyone thinks that Kerry would have been a much better president in office than Bush has been.
(Now keep in mind Hurricane Katrina and September 11th)

Chibi Chibi Is so adorable.
Well, honestly, I don't pay much attention to stuff like this at all, so I can't say much. But I know there are times when I doubt Bush's actions.
~Thanks, Souhi! I heart it!~
Great, yet another thread to provoke Bush Bashing.
Honestly, I believe the man did what he thought was right and what he thought was best, but through and through they ended up being regretable decisions(at least from the standpoint of the majority of Americans), and a good number backfired on him, his administration, and the public. Of course, I do not thing he is the brightest of people, and he has messed up in many ways. But hasn't the public insulted the man enough as it is? We all know the man has had problems during his time as president, there is no need to constantly point it out. And don't try to pin 9/11 and Katrina on Bush. There are countless others the blame could be placed on or divided amongst.
"The color fades along the intervals I follow."
Katrina was not entirely his fault. They never issued the call for help, so that's why the National guard was late. And DO NOT blame him for 9/11, because even with all of the hints of it's happenings, no one could have predicted it on that scale.
It's almost sad that most others against Bush can focus towards the bad things that he did, since there ARE good actions on his part.

I personally don't like him as a president. We'd be much better off with someone else.

There's this guy at the Regiment right, and he's a total goof, which in the military means a complete incompetent. I think he'd be better than Bush.
Thankfully I ain't in the US.
Instead of asking all those question that are asked around the country constanty why don't you ask yourself this. Would you have done any better? Is it going to make a difference if Kerry would of been a better president, I mean It's not like we can go back in time with all the answers. So really, altough I'm guily of making a Bush thread, all of them are pointless because even though this country has, "We the people...." There isn't much about what we can do. I mean for pete's sake he didn't elect himself.
George W Bush - "The W stands for honesty."
I agree, try asking something new. It's not like he put himself in that position. I mean people did elect him after all.Originally Posted by Vendetta

What gives you the slightest idea that he's racist? It is, as stated above, OUR votes that had him elected. Yeah, bush does suck, and the gas prices are going down, and the ecomony is slightly improving, and that was no thanks to Bush.[Sarcasm]
Sig by -Ookami-, thank you Ookami!
And they say I opened "Pandora's Box"...
Look, I just don't agree with "Dubya". He's not racist, per se. But I do believe him to be bigoted. He doesn't like homosexuals, after all. He harbors prejudice towards them, and doesn't want them to have equal liberties or rights. Even if this is the result of him being "spiritual" or "religious" it is still bigotry. And that is something I cannot tolerate more than anything.
You know, Clinton lied about his personal life. True enough. He cheated on his wife, an immoral act indeed. BUT AT LEAST HE DID WELL WITH THE COUNTRY. How many times as Bush lied about national or international affairs? Or maybe stretched the truth a little bit? Or given us too little information, just to string us along?
I don't care what party the person is, but I want the next president to have a good stance on all issues, and see things from both sides, and the middle. I want a good president. Because we sure need one.
HHmm....when Clinton left office he left alot of money in the Treasury I believe and he made things happen, when bush got office we got about 3 trillion in debt( the hell?!) and Democrats and the citizens are about to kill him and his office 0_0; Everything that he has done for the past two terms, as I look at it, has made this country go down hill. On the list of the top countries for Economy the US was #1 now it has dropped down to #6, now isn't that telling us something? Everyone is complaining about the things Bush is doing and he has lost ALOT of supporters, seeing as the war isn't going anywhere and he won't change strategies, only tactics, I can see why. Election is coming up and Bush not doing anything to keep Republicians in teh office, Democrats got this one for sure, so something should change by next year, good or bad, I don't know. The effects of his action over the years are now hitting him back with hard force. The borders, banning gay marriages, etc. I think really are things to keep the ppl happy and try to divert their attention to the problem at large and other things he didn't want ppl to notice the real truth of. All in all, when we get a new president, hopefully better than Bush, It will be like a breath of fresh air on a spring day....as I say again I hope >>;
My ranting is done now^^;
I think Bush is an incompetant oaf, who happened to run for a presidency during a time when many American humans were confused as to what they were doing. I guess I can't blame an idiot human like Bush because of what other idiots did with a writing utensil. But I can blame him for not being able to find one man n an "Intricate Network Of Tunnels". Also, Kerry may or may not have been a good president, but we'll only know if he attempts to run for the presidency again, won't we?

I'm not a Bush supporter, then again, I'm not an american, so i don't have much say. Let's just say he isn't the most popular person alive here in Canada.
Siggeh made by me. Taking requests ATM! =3
I'm too tired to debate, and I really don't want to start a flame war or get trapped in one. All I'll say, is that he does nothing himself. He depends on Cheney, so it's not neccarily (SP?) him. Though I still think he's an idiot. Kerry isn't great, but he's better than Bush. I'm done, and I won't be looking at this thread again.

I am getting so sick and tired of these threads about Bush. Look, okay he screwed up, after all he is human. The guy was confronted with his country being attacked and in the end thousnads died. So he did what he thought would be right. Now i do support his was on getting rid of terror. I mean who would not want that. I don't support some of the things that he did, but some i do, I just feel so sad for the guy being constantly under fire by everyone. Kerry i am so glad that he did not get ellected into office because i think he would have woosed out and had his wife do everything. he would have pulled the tropps out way to soon. I just don't like how early pre-teens are so obsessed with bush bashing. It shouldn't affect you because you guys arn't paying taxes yet. So be glad you are children and stop worrying. it is so sad that parents force their politcal views on their children so sad.

Shame on your to blame 9/11 on bush. Shame shame. How can one prevent something when they do not even know of it? Katrina wow, you balme it on Bush also, hello! FEMA! They screwed up big time. Bush was right by sending military and coast guard aid to them. Fema didn't even show up for a week after.
Kishiro
Okay so you thing he is a boggit. Wow that is a big assumption. The guy is holding off on the gay rights bill because he has all of america yelling and screaming at him that if he does one more thing wrong he thiks he will be dead. That is why he is holding it off. I most def do not think it is because he is a biggot. SOMEONE GIVE PROOF THAT HE IS RACIST OR A BIGGOT IF NOT THEN BE QUITE
Clinton was terrible. Tha fact that you breeze over him having an affair with someone else is just stupid. So many people look after him and look what he did. He had a chance to get Osama. Oh yeah lets not forget that he did supply him with weapons at the time. Clinton did put us through many pointless miny wars that were so dumb an not neccessary.

Just my opinion, but shouldn't the question be who is going to be the better choice in the next election? Regardless of my feelings on Bush, what's done is done and relying on the media to report it gives us a shady picture at best.
How Kerry would have faired is a moot point since he wasn't elected and no one could predict how he would have handled those situations. Just because a person may handle something differently doesn't mean that way is better anyway.
I haven't had anyone I honestly wanted to vote for since I started voting, only people I felt would do less damage. But as stated above by a few people, you cannot place all the blame on one person when many are at fault. Likewise, expecting one person or a small group of people to fix the country's problems rather than doing your part is not only ignoring the problem, it's making it worse. (And I'm not saying anyone in particular, just in general many fall into this category in my experience.)

Back, by popular demand! Now with new avy.
Oh, so the US is having problems with water? Well, it kinda figures 'coz you're a huge country. Down here we're having energy problems (electricity and oil). Our countries really should help each other, but what are we in the great plan of the aristocrats? XDI think we should be more worried about the price of water. Am I the only one who's noticed that water cost more than gas per gallon? And, as we all know, we NEED water to survive, gas we can do without.
Kishiro Your quote about water being more expensive then gas. Uh since when. I buy two gallon water jugs for 1.49 at my market. Also Gas is so important and expensive because of greedy oil tycoons and the war.
