An Atheist who had no fear
For Jason Hova the path was clear
To build a machine to twist time and space
And send a man to another place
Teleporter sounded quaint
Hova smiled and thought “Quantum Gate”
He handpicked minds to build his team
To create the machine from his dream
“Impossible” His critics taunted
This genius would not be daunted
Task achieved, the Gate was done
The first to step through could be only one
Hova’s name was at the top of the list
To be the first to enter the space-time twist
His colleagues were there, he was in place
“A first!” he thought for the whole Human race
The first trip was to be only ten feet
His calculations said it was a goal he could meet
The machine was turned on, and there was a spark
An assistant shouted something and then there was dark
“Failure”, “Overload” were words he did hear
Before in the darkness he did appear
Out of Space and out of Time
Merged with Infinity had his mind
“I am Jay Hova!” he tried to say
His identity was fading away
Was it the end or beginning? He thought
What fate had this quantum accident wrought
His mind became clear he could feel... Everything
He began to understand what he was becoming
The body he knew he could no longer feel
But the power he felt was truely real
And the man who acknowledged no God’s might
Stared at the blackness and shouted “LET THERE BE LIGHT!”
