October Wallpaper Contest!! Fall theme!

Fall is closing up with a great speed, and I greet you from Norway where the fall has already arrived with its cold weather and rain!

For the first time, I am the host of this wallpaper contest and I would like for EVERYONE to join this contest! Tell friends, family, boyfriends or girlfiends, anyone you know, for this contest will be one hell of a blast with new wallpapers, members, feelings and the like.

Right, then. Over to the rules!

1. I want nothing smaller than 1024x768px. Remember, the larger, the better, 'cause it can easily be sized downwards to fit any size.

2. Your work only!

3. Your name on it!

4. It must say www.animegalleries.net somewhere.

5. Must have a fall theme!

6. Must have at least one anime character on it.

7. All wallpapers must be attached to this thread. I will not accept wallpapers through PMs.

What is a fall theme, you might ask.. Anything that reminds you of fall! You decide, as long as it got the whole fall feeling.

This time, we'll go overboard with the prizes, so be sure to join the contest right away!


First place: 7500 Rupees, an awesome banner and a cookie!
Second place: 5000 Rupees and an awesome banner!
Third place: 2500 Rupees and an awesome banner!

Honorable mentions: 1000 Rupees and a hug~


All wallpapers have to be submitted by November 1, 2006.

Well, here you go! My first entry to a wallpaper contest! xP!

This is my wallpaper for the contest...It's ok I guess. I'm not a big fan of autumn colors, but I like how this turned out with the blending. I got the textures and backround from aethereality.net and used some brushes I already had. I couldn't think of another title so, because Autumn Song was the first thing that came into my head after I added the brushes of the sheet music. Anyways, I hope somebody likes it. : ) I'm not sure who the character is, but I also got the PNG from aethereality.net

Oh Shawna-chan, it's not terribly difficult to upload your wallpaper. Here is what you need to do.

Click on the "EDIT" button to edit your post and it'll bring up your post in a new window to modify it. What you will do is scroll down until you see Attach Files. Under that is Manage Attachments. All you do is click that button which pops up a smaller window.

All you need to do then is click Browse... choose your file then click Upload. Then after you upload, click Close This Window. And it's that easy! Hopefully you can modify your post accordingly.

Also, your wallpaper is 800x600, the minimum size is for the wallpaper 1028x768. So if you want your entry to count, you'll need to change it. Good luck! Hopefully this helps!

Shawna-Chan your wallpaper is not in a normal ratio resolution. I'd recommend changing to 1024x768. Also it seems very blurry. Might want to sharpen it up.
