One food for a year

If you were forced to live off of one food for a year including water what would it be?

I normally would choose candy since i love it but i dont think i would want to eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner for a whole year so i guess i would have to say macaroni because i dont think i would get sick of it as much...

Ugh that would be awful! I think after anything night and day for a year I'd be sick of it and I wouldn't be able to look at it ever again.

I think if someone made me though I would choose a food that was really broad so I could get away with a lot of variation... like soup, so I could have stews, broths, gaspachos, maybe even custards if I bend the rules enough ;P

Mac and cheese. :3 That's the one food that can never get me sick no matter what, and it isn't extremely unhealthy so I won't get fat easily. ^^

Dude-man-sir, do you know how hard it is to open a coconut? When I cut one open to make my set of coconut halves, I cut for some 30 minutes(approzimate figure) and made but a nick in the coconut's hard outer shell. Thankfully, I was able to insert a screwdriver in that nick and thus was able to seperate the halves.

Unless you have a mystical, magical, easier way of halving coconuts, I'd advise against eating them.

Though I think after eating the same thing every meal for even a month I'd barf just looking at it.

To open a coconut, remove the outer husk (if not purchased already removed) and pierce two of the three eyes of the fruit (one for the juice to come out of, one to enable air to go in); drain the juice from the fruit. Since coconuts have a naturally-forming fracture point, they can be opened by taking a heavy knife, such as a meat cleaver, and striking the coconut with the flat edge of the knife. Or you can use a flat-bladed screwdriver and a hammer (which is easier, and may be safer than using a cleaver). After inserting the screwdriver slightly, twist it to crack the shell. The coconut should then be turned, and this process repeated until there is a contiguous crack in the shell around the entire fruit. Afterwards, the fruit can be separated at this fracture point. An alternative method is to first drain the juice from the coconut and then place it in an oven at 180 °C for 20 minutes. The heat will crack the shell as well as loosen the flesh, enough so that it will almost fall off.

I eat coconuts all the time. I use the flat-head screwdriver-and-hammer approach, or sometimes, a few hard taps with a hammer to create a nice crack which is able to be pried apart by hand.

If I had to eat one food for a year that would be cheese. Of course, I would balloon to the size of a rhino, but still .... I love cheese and would eat it, and do, everyday. Just not in a sizable amount because then ... y'know, I would become the size of a rhino. >.>

There are too many kinds of foods to choose one from, the best I can do is lower it down to three:

-Spahgetti
-Stir Fry
-French Fries
