In this world people are bad to the bone
In this world, you'll feel alone.
In this world, you seek bliss,
But people are often as cold as stone.
In the early days people's laughter was dying,
Nowadays it's the same, only bullets go flying.
Bush, Kerry and Tony Blair,
Union and peace they want to share,
But still the war is going on,
It isn't fair, it's so unfair.
No one's talking when nobody's walking.
Because of city gas they fear that they'll be choking.
Sharing the same tears,
People live in fear.
And when the moment of truth appears,
They get to see their own worst fears.
Pacifists talk about the problems there are,
And try to bring the message: Make love, not war!
The cause of all the misery lies in the past,
Where men battled to the very last.
To gather a union and friendships to gain,
To remain our world is our task.
The only thing that matters
Is the love that never shatters.
But even sadness
Isn't madness...
You don't have to grieve
All the time over something lost.
In your life you must achieve
Your dreams at any cost.

This was written by me in school. Sorry for my bad English, it's not my first language. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading the poem. It was hard to come up with and put my own reflections in it.
Oh and I hope that I did everything right, this is my first thread.
