Oh dear father take the knife from you chest
It is buried inside you and sings from your soul
As the whole of the world is begging for rest
Don’t you see that they will throw down into a hole
Where you will drown on the things you keep in a box
Underneath your mattress with the dreams of crow
Who lies on the ground wings broken and rocks
Back and forth as the agony within in him grows
Will you take the spear that I offer to you
Will you accept that it is all I can do
As the ending show it will be that which we knew
Crying out to the rain as it falls of the few
Who were wise to escape please run to them now
I will die hear and leave you a shovel to dig
Up the bones you have hidden away and how
Can you not hear the songs that they rig
Up just for your don’t you see that the sun
You have birthed is up in the sky
And you can watch in your house as he starts to run
And you can smile when he lays down to cry

Oh dear mother will see what I give
A impassioned speech that flows into space
As in your garden of books, where you live
You can see in the petals the shade of a face
Crying out for your essence to fall into her
But you can hold on thought you brain is a mess
And it sinks to your feet and your vision is blur
But there are glasses for that so expect nothing less
Than the world to be bowed by the stone in the grass
Shedding tears as you go to your soil bed
And we wave good by and toss a rose made to last
In the darkness beside you a pillow for you head
But please remember us as you walk in the clouds
Where thunder is brewing and crying for you
As rain sweeps a way the gems that were shrouded
With the mist of the lake where you used to do
All the things that the gods forbade to us all
But that is what made you strong and made you a queen
With you scepter entwined with the heart of the call
That I shout to you since you are trapped in man’s final dream

Oh dear brother what has happened to those
Words we traded while painting the stars
And how we would make medicine out of women’s cloths
And the shining rays of light that come from mars
And how we would climb to the top of the school
You’d pull me up and we laughed at the man in the moon
Who would stare angry at us, that old fool
As below you could hear the sad cry of a loon
Now you have taken the road to the past
Could not forgive that your queen faded away
Casting blame like the daggers you kept till the last
In your heart in your eyes as with venom you say
In the city streets where you sigh and cry all alone
Take the ashes you keep in your wallet and look
How they glitter pale white and use them to come home
I’ll be waiting and we will die once again
Faded shadows of painting that philosopher’s eat
Will hang above us again as we dance in the pain
That we share like our blood as we go out to feed

Oh dear sister you are a beautiful girl
Like a maiden who sings from atop a golden cow
But that has taken from you what you protect most in the world
Now you can give it to no loving man now
It was taken from you by a demon of gin
Who in shadows had waited for you with a cross
He screamed soulless to the stars as he put himself in
And breaking you up he as filled you with loss
I can do nothing, not give back what is gone
As the trees carry you up in there branches and hands
I will hold you and take you away from wrong-
Headed world that has drowned you in pearly sand
In your soul I know there is the girl that I love
Who beside me would laugh as the world spun around
On axis and would throw ceramic turtle doves
From the window to watch them crash to the ground
Take my hand we will show the world what it mean to be free
I will give you the reasons you left in the trees
And into each other we will give reason to be
I have no girl and you are too broke so it’s just you and me

I actually kind of want to say that this poem is about a family where the mother died and the daughter was raped. And how it caused the father to loose all confidence in the world and his progeny and made the brother run away. So this is from the other member trying to bring the pieces back together.

Your writing carries some unique traits, one of the most original people I've seen with your kind of talent. Though it should be said that there are many paths to the top (just in case any other AF poet is reading this), but you've got a knack for painting a vivid picture with every sentence.

Actually, I've read quite a few of your works -- one of them that caught my eye was "The Murderer's Brand" (I think that's what it's called). You've got something serious going on up in your head, and I think you should keep going with it.
