Is pet doctor a job that's highly paid?

I am questioning, are Americans nowaadays liking to feed pets than the past?

If it is so, is pet doctor a decent job as doctors and pharmarceuts?

Veteranarian (a pet doctor) is a great job to have. It takes quite a bit of schooling, though. University of Georgia, near where I live, is actually one of the best vet schools in the country. There's always a demand for a vet, just like there's always a demand for a practicing human doctor.

But I heard Americans are not as passionate as Japanese having pets?

Vets, dentists and doctors are always well paid. Personally I don't have the guts or the stomach for those jobs, but if you want to take it up then good luck! =D

We Americans love our pets quite a bit. It also depends what kind of practicing vet you become, though. For instance, some vets specialize in dogs and cats, and others (particularly around the rural area where I live) take care of livestock such as cattle, sheep, horses, llamas, etc. Others might have a more exotic specialty yet; SOMEONE's got to help the circus elephants when they get sick.

I wonder why you're asking, though? Are you afraid you would not have enough business as a vet? Or that your customers would not want to pay enough? I assure you that's not true. Some Americans give better medical care to their pets than to themselves. My neighbor (May he burn in Satan's basement) shot my Siberian husky right through the chest several months ago with a high-powered deer rifle, and I rushed the dog to the vet quite faster than I might have driven a human. The dog has since made a full recovery, but it was a near thing. I'll be forever grateful to my vet, and though the surgery was not cheap, I consider it entirely worth it. Had it been double what it was, I would still have paid it in full.

Because I hardly find a pet shop in my place, so I assumed Americans are not that into raising pets.

Well my sis did vet work for awhile and she was just a helper and she had to give shots and did small surgereys and got got paid little .She was gonna then work her way up to a vet ,but then she decided to do something else.If you want to become a vet you have to get used to blood, surgery, gashes and alot more. The vet helpers what my sis did don't get paid alot like the vets do ,but they still have to give shots and do minor surgrys ,but not the big surgrys.
    I hope I helped
