im rereading Fight Club (good book) and heres an interesting quote/question:

"If you could be either God's worst enemy or nothing, which would you choose?"


since im atheist i cant really answer this truthfully but im interested to see if anyone catches the deeper meanings to this and uses their head to answer instead of their blind faith

In any case, the question largely misunderstands the concept of a god. Someone truly omnipotent can't have an enemy, lest s/he permits it to be that way, and if that is the case, you're not god's enemy--you're his/her puppet.

Argh, this question is so full of logical fallacies and paradoxes... It's like very time I look at it I find a new logical flaw.

You can't choose not to exist, because by truly not existing, you won't be able to exist in the past either, and then you can't make the decision to not exist, ergo, you can't choose that option. It's simply not possible.
