DC all the way!!!! The green lanturn, Nightwing, Sinestro, and Batman!!!! It is just gotten darker on top of that!!!
Pfft to DC...it has superman and batman, kinda useless. I used to like both, then i'd realize that it's dinky to get injured from "kryptonite" and batman is only good cause i nthe movie his batmobile is a corvette :P excuse my bashing...SPIDER-MAN's my hero!! so is Gambit and venom and and and carnage

Marvel because they always seemed to be more realistic on the human level. The superheroes had normal human reactions to their powers or what not. There was also the sense of ambiguity that isn't there in the DC Good/Evil, with the sole exception of Batman of course.
Of course this is all coming from a lay person in the comic world (never bought a comic in my life) so I wouldn't know I whole lot.

Well DC seems to go for these god-like, almost perfect superheroes (except batman) and are a bit unrealistic in the fact that it's just cliche good guy, bad guy crap. Marvel is a lot like Manga in the fact that the heroes have problems and seem more human. And that just appeals more to me.
Aside from the main question I think I prefer Dark Horse to most american comics... but pretty much, Marvel owns all. XP
I like Wolverine... I can't think of very many Marvel names right now for some reason... >_> how frustrating...

I like both, but if i had to choose one it would be d.c., more classic kind of comics.
I'm a Marvel fan. They produced my favourite superhero of all time -- Spider-Man. Along with him are Ghost Rider and Wolverine; two other Marvel characters that rank as my favourites. The only 'superhero' from DC that I've ever liked was Batman. Well, I used to like Flash, Martian Manhunter and Superman when I was a kid...but not anymore.
