what's up with cross dressing?

I'm starting the thread so if you want to talk about cross dressing talk about it here! not in the gender thread!


What do you think of cross dressing? Would you ever do it or have done so?

I think it's fun, sometimes I feel more better doing things with mens clothes because it's more umma roomy? anywho I have so and I think it's okay, what ever floats your boat.

I have wore guy clothes before, but it was comfy I tell you!

I just wear those over sized t-shirts a pajams or something...I just find it odd/funny when I see a boy in a skirt (cough aifa cough) I saw that and was like...okay then >>

I really don't care if a guy wants to dress like a girl, or a girl wants to dress like a boy.

Anime crossdressers perk up the animes. But seeing a guy walking down the street with a dress on is just bizarre.

But why all this 'macho' thing about seeing a guy wearing a skirt? I dont' get it, shouldn't people wear what ever they are comfterble in?

I agree with sagat, as long as you are confident and don't mind me giggling a bit. One of my classmates did that and I would link arms with him and skip down the halls, it was funny.

Why? I don't see a point in that. It's just a choice that particular person has made. o_O I don't see anything to laugh at. It'd be like laughing at you because you decided to wear jeans instead of dress pants.

I don't really care for the whole thing. I do find it weird to see people like that but it is the choice of the individual. I do not plan on doing it myself, but if others choose to do so then I respect their decision and will not do anything to humiliate them.

I wore a skirt once and I will say that it was quite comfortable. I would never wear it again because it felt kinda awkward to have that much air down there but I can see why someone would want to wear it. Crossing dressing is fine with me as long as long as I am still allowed to laugh.

Eh, I'm not a big fan of seeing it, but I'm not one to stop others from doing it. I guess they like the taste in clothes, and can't really hate someone for that. I would never do it, I like my male clothes. Wearing dresses and high heels just ain't my style.

Like a girl always can wear guys clothes if she feels like it, a guy wearing girls clothes is always an insult to your eyes or a source of fun.

Most guys clothes are very comfortable to me. I don't view it as crossdressing, I just view it as dressing comfortably.

Plus, finding womens pants that actually fit is a nightmare. Men have a good size system when it comes to pants.

I like guys clothes. I hate girls clothes. Every year the the shirts get cut lower as do the "hip hugger" jeans. God I hate that crap. And anything you try to get fits like a b***h and/or makes you look like a w***e. Which I hate. My cousin tries to tell me otherwise but really I don't like walking around with my big butt hanging out! >_>

I don't think it's weird cause guy clothes are considerably more comfortable, less whorey, and look a lot more awsome. I mean there aren't many girl tees with dragons and tigers and demons on them! And what can top that look?

Also guys look cute in dresses with make-up on and a guy friend of mine cross-dresses... And he looks cute. Plus my boyfriend did it for this event he had at camp. (some mock-princess contest! ^_^) He looked so adorable that I nearly strangled him with a hug when I saw it. awwww... I wanna do his make-up next time! XP

I think cross dressing (guys goes girls) is a proof that some guys just want to "dress up" and look gorgeous in dresses as girls can. When I were in turkey, i saw a man in highheeled boots, miniskirt and some kind of tight plastic top, that wasnt nice but it was at this beach pub thingy >__>. Also a guy in my cousins class (hes 18), he is wearing girls jeans, handbags and all girls stuff, and ppl accept him anyways! maybe some guys get frightend or something but thats just a little immature...

So crossdressing boys goes girls doesnt bother me, and girls in boys clothes is kinda normal nowadays isnt it? so no problms with any type of crossdressing!

I don't mind it, if they can take the concequesnces for it (ie. guy wearing skirt..crows laughing..i know it was their choice but people are like that) well Aifa..man..*laughs* hmm there are always kilts, technically they are skirts...as for girls dressing as guys i think it's okay but its not as noticeable (i dont think) as the other gender crossdressing.

It would seem to me that it's the men that have the biggest problem with other men cross-dressing. I don't really see what the big deal is. It's just bits of material. We all dress to feel comfortable, to be alluring, to go to bed, to go to work, etc. A lot of the guys I've seen cross-dress look really good. Some of them look better than I do in those outfits.

I love the pic I have of my best friend wearing his kilt. Though that's not actually cross dressing it is similar to wearing a skirt. Sexy legs!! ^_^ Guys can have sexy legs too.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I'd marry a cross dresser, but he needs to ask before borrowing my clothes.

I dont dress girly at all. Ok, maybe a few baby doll shirts here and there, but thats about it. 98% of my wardrobe is mens clothing. But its publicly accepted if a girl wears guys clothing.

Now, men wearing womans clothing isnt as accepted. Which I think is a bit unfair. We have freedom of speach and expresion, so when a man wants to wear womens clothing, why should he be riddiculed? I think its fine, and I have a few friends who have done it before (just for kicks) and it was great. They even went into a Victoria Secret and started trying out bras and stuff. What really got me upset is that they were going to buy stuff (for halloween) and got kicked out. I didnt think that was fair. There are men who believe they are women, and to treat them like that isnt right....but people will do it anyway

And as sad as that is, it's true. Not to bring something completely different to this thread, but it's the same with homosexuality. [Most] guys think it's oh-so-sexy to be lesbian and such. But if you're gay, it's entirely different and repulsive. =\ It's unfair how there is that double-standard for men and women. It also seems to be true that women are generally more accepting of things like this. =\ It's lame.
