My Murderer

Please just stay and hold me for a while.
Before I'm gone let me see that smile.
This seemingly gentle touch...
I never thought about it much...
But it was you...Who was killing me with such care.
With those innocent eyes hiding that dark glare.

I don't want to be the one who crys.
I don't want to be the one trapped by your lies.
Why should I be the one who dies?
Why did you have to be...My murderer?

Everytime you said you 'loved me',
That was just a ploy to see...
Exactly how you could tear this heart out.
You only laughed when I tried to shout.

You're killing me...With your 'love'.
Announcing peace, then shooting the white dove.
I'm nothing more than your favorite little tool.
I hate my self for being here, for being your fool.

I don't want to do this anymore.
I don't want to be your victim lying upon this broken floor.
I don't want to become like you, so rotten to the core.
Why did you have to be...My murderer?

I picked myself up and tried to run,
but you thought it would only be fun,
To try to make me stay.
To say I'd thank you someday.

But...I've died.
There's nothing left I haven't cried.
Truths are gone, they've all been lied.
I've been reborn to see past you...
You can't lie anymore I see what's true.

So goodbye...My Murderer.

otakuyume!!! i haven't seen a poem written from u in a while! nice to see 1 from u!!! that was very touching, u always write very good deep flowing poems with amazing rhyming, this 1 was good, i like the verse when you said announcing peace, then shooting the white dove, im gonna remember that line

I personally think it`s a really deep-touching poem, though I am sure that you`ve done happier poems than this one. Great job and it all made sense, and that`s what is important when you write a poem. Well, one of the important things.
