How are you in the kitchen?

So, how are you in the kitchen? Mad scientist? Food Hitler? Clueless as to how to use the stove? Master chef?

Personally, I don't cook much. I make a killer tomato sauce, and am sort of a pasta nazi, but otherwise most of my cooking happens to fastfood in the microwave.

Lets see, i can cook hamberger helper's, mac and cheese, and i memorized the chocolate chips cookie recipe and i even have my own homemade cookie recipe, and i can make rolls! woohoo, i love opening the can thing the rolls come in. and i can cook just about anything my mom makes me cook.

I can't cook unless mom is home...my mom still doesnt trust me....

I'll put it this way.. On my course in Borden, I tried to make microwavable popcorn. I set the microwave on fire. Literally, someone took the bag out and stamped the flames out.

Is that an accurate enough response for my cooking skills?

I'm not too good. I make some good pasta, but that's about it. If it doesn't have directions on it, I can't do it too well. Now, the grill is an entirely seperate matter....

Today I made American Goulash, which is Ground Beef (Browned), Elbow Macaroni, diced tomatoes, and copious amounts of paprika. It's better then it sounds.

I'm pretty decent in the kitchen. I contemplated trying to join Le Cordon Bleu Academy, but decided cooking for a living, even as a chef would be boring.

Not to long ago I made some awesome Chicken Parmesan.

Unfortunately, I suck at baking. Anything more difficult then brownies is doomed to failure.

My baking skills are awesome. I make the best cookies, cakes, and brownies. The baked goods and treats are my favorite things to eat so I guess that's why I'm good. I also make killer Mac & Cheese! The rest I'll just use the microwave for I don't want to burn down my house... again...

I am actually quite good in the kitchen, I like experimenting, adding different things to an already established dish. I enjoy cooking and baking, I paid attention in home ec and I also am very good with all sorts of recipes.

I was kicked out of baking class in 10th grade for blowing up the oven with my "special" cake.

I forget already what I put in that cake, but it dented the front of the oven.

But that's baking... Cooking, or grilling, i'm not too bad at. I can cook up a mean chicken & rice combanation. I like the spicy stuff so I usually dice a few peppers and toss 'em in there.

And I like to grill at a cook out! Just ask me, i'll invite you to my next barbeque! lol

And even though it's not cooking, I have this unique talent for mixing drinks. ^_^

I'm not a good cook though. =[ I can use the oven for baking and that's it. I need to have insructions ifront of my face. XD And yeah, it was awful. It happend about a year ago. But still... I make kick butt Mac & cheese.

I remember when I had an easy bake oven... I left the little stick thingy that you're suppose to use to get your treat out... I left it in the oven ._.

Over the years I've become real good because I have always had to do most of the cooking in my family. I especially love baking, and thats what I'm probably the best at, and its more fun to me.
