If u give someone bad rep don't u think u should put your name up there to instead of just leaving a comment. If u make a smart comment and don't leave your name up there basically your a punk. does someone agree wit me?

We've been over this a thousand times. We can't make you see who bad repped you, but if you are curious about a bad rep, you can PM LadyPSerenity very politely and she'll tell you who did it.

I do not agree some pplz just don't like ppl or somethimes ppl can do a random name and bad rep them!!! But it can also difinitely be for a reason too!!!

Yes, I do agree. If you don't leave your name and a reason, Obveously you aren't proud of what you did. So, really there would be no reason to bad rep them in the first place.

thank u. and I don't think it's fair. because one time someone had the nerve to call me a Dumb *** when he bad repped me. I could see if u don't agree with someone on something but to call him a name like that he better be lucky I didn't know him. because if I did what I had in mine I would probaly get kicked off the website.

Some ppl sometimes don't leave a name because alot of the ppl they bad rep love to flame and push them around after they do it. Even if u do deserve it alot of u would probably bad rep them back and they don't really deserve it. But I can see where u all are coming from on this point and sometimes it would be right to leave a name there to let u know who bad repped u. So i am 30/70 on this one >>;

Well if they did deserve it! Then leave your name so that they can PM that person cause I don't care, I like to know what I did wrong to get this bad rep!!! and this is why it is important to leave your name and plus even if they start a agruement using verbal words just report them!!!!

I find this hilarious... and as the last two posts have stated... get over it.

But I will say that to make it fair to everyone, I leave my nickname SLE when I bad rep someone and when I good rep someone. It's just what I do.

Bad rep used to bother me, but now I really don't care. It's something that happens. It's not really real life because you most likely don't know the people who do it.

So like stated before... GET OVER IT!

Yet another n00b whining about bad rep, bad rep will not affect your life, period, and if it does, you seriously need to get of the computer. Its an anime forum, repeat an anime forum, if someone bad reps you and doesn't leave there name, it won't end your life, so stop your whining, the mods have gone over it time and time again, if they didnt want the bad rep feature, then they would have disabled it.

Good reps or bad reps - boxes are only for fun so don't take them seriously. Red or green boxes don't say how smart you are. Sometimes you can get bad reputation without reasons, someone doesn't like you so they give you bad rep, but who cares? Your posts are much more important than red or green boxes.

I get bad repped all the time. Especially for my latest sig. Well I did get twice as many good but still, eventually you have to ask yourself how much it really matters

If you fume and cry over a bad rep ... you need to follow up that question with "is my life worth anything" cause it probably isnt

Anyway, if you beat yourself up because you got bad rep on a message board...then maybe you should spend some time AWAY from Mr. Computer. You know, go outside, ride a bike, read a book, anything. It shouldn't matter...and it doesn't.

I got bad repped once. Some one stated that I was a "loser" (from the myspace thread) because I said myspace was overrated. I just laughed because why should I care what some random person on the internet thinks of me?

It's very easy to make it show who repped you.

But nobody is going to. It's anonymous because that's the way it's designed. It's a silly little feature of the forums, where you say what you think of someone, and you don't have to say who you are. It's little more than a popularity contest. It gets abused by people who more or less beg for rep, and it gets whined about by the people who worry too much.

Here are your choices when dealing with bad rep.

1. Ignore it. If you don't care that people say things, then don't make a big deal about it.
2. Change. If you don't like what people have to say about you, do something about it.
3. Whine about it and annoy everyone, so then more people bad rep you and give you more to whine about.

Option 3 is certainly not recommended. Nobody likes to be annoyed. Chances are, you being annoying is what would have gotten you bad repped in the first place.
I know many people here really could benefit from option 2.

But really. Everyone makes such a big deal over something that's meant to be silly. You don't get anything from having a high rep score, and you don't lose anything from having a low rep score. It doesn't mean anything at all.
