Hmmm, Help?

Not sure if this is where I should post this, so my apologies if this is the wrong place!

I have been finding reference pictures for someone to draw something for me, and she is doing an AMAZING job and wants to put the picture up on her Diviant(sp?) Art account. But I was just double checking all the pictures to make sure it would be okay. *(I dont want to get her in trouble!)*

So moving to the point here! I was wondering if anyone recognized this picture or anything? I know I got it off of Google but... I can't for the life of me find it again ^.^;

But seriously, that pic doesn't belong to any show or anything. It's just another anime pic without purpose. Save it, then it's yours to keep in My Pictures. Neh?

But I could have sworn there was a copyright on the original...

And then this one doesn't have it... so I don't want to be tredding on anyones territory. It would be horrible if I got my friend to draw something that looks quite similar to her and then get in lots of trouble for it!

The person that made that pic probably wont find out. And if you do art from it, it is not copyright infringement

As long as you don't 100% copy it you are fine. Just don't trace it or anything...

No no, she is doing an original drawing of the same character...

Basically the same clothes and also wearing a collar with a similar hair cut... but not tracing...

I just really dont want to get the person drawing it for me in trouble, I would feel horrible!

Yeah, most likely the person won't find out.. And it actually looks like something I've seen before.. So, if your friend modifies the picture, changes it up, then there's not really a problem.. :/ I don't think they'd sue you or anything anyways.
